Hygiene Operative in Mitcham
on 23 May 2022
Hard work every day very fast pacessed they will move you around like a piece of object that they trade five or six different times just so they and their friends can go and relax in the canteen for over and hour and you will only get two fifteen minute breaks and by the time you take your overalls off and get to the canteen you got maybe a five minute tea or smoke break and then before your time is up someone already looking for you . It's actually insane how they treat employees like animals.

Zombie management
if you find yourself working for hovis as a HGV driver or a runt van driver you will see the disrespect, lies and dishonest from the management. there staff turnover is very High for HGV drivers because of the disrespect that the management shows to the staff.

Productive and good place to work.
Lovely place to work, its the workers that make the place, lovely friendly people. Everyone is willing to help if you're stuck with something. Worked here for 3 years now and met some life long friends.

Long hours and low pay.
Most of the workers are good people and you can have a laugh. However the pay is low compared to other parts of the factory where workers are on more money and do less. There is alot of favouritism amongst management and some workers get more oppurtunities to better themselves in the company than others. Agency staff get given staff overtime whilst we are supposed to be priority. The hard workers are pushed and the lazier worker is left alone. Not appreciated and not so much as even a Christmas card to say thankyou for the hardwork we put in over lockdown.
