Driver in Tarleton, Lancashire
on 5 May 2022
Always rushing, love the work we do, hate the organisation.
If you dont mind being overplanned or having to bay break and not having your dinner breaks, or your work being given to someone else, but love driving through countrysides and sleeping out in nice remote locations and your own truck this is the place for you

Poorly paid good job
Job is as easy as you make it, Once experienced. Many staff are lazy and hang job out. Management have no idea what goes on. Very much a “jobs for the boys” culture where if you’re friends with department managers or directors you’ll get away with incompetence.
HGV Class 1 Driver in Tarleton

Planners disrespectful
Good job, kit, work etc., planners don’t know how to treat drivers with any respect. Transport manager a decent lady but the planners on the other hand who tend to be the ones you deal with are rude and at times obnoxious.
HGV Class 1 Driver in Tarleton, Lancashire

Work is work - but I have easy runs that I enjoy and get to see the beautiful British countryside (and Tesco Widnes, but we won't go there). I do 4 on 4 off, gives me a good balance. They're putting new lads through the class 1 and it's nice to see some young ones want to learn the proffesion. Cabs are relatively clean - yeh we share, but most of the other drivers respect it. We also have a cleaner that gives them deep scrub once a week. They give us the chance to suggest things and make it better, like the cab cleanin, hold good and different events that get us togethed. Had a big birthday bash a few weeks ago, was good, everyone up dancing. Directors need to learn to have a laugh a bit more.
Fork lift in production in Tarleton, Lancashire
on 5 July 2022
Days go quickly
Days go quickly because you're always busy. Management are mixed, some good, some bad. I worked in production on a forklift, and they produce a lot fast. I've been here a while and only had a couple of bad days, normally when bad quality or at Christmas, but you just get on with it don't you? I get a bonus for driving a FLT and had a bit of training through the place. They take health and safety seriously but that's good.
