Boring and unproductive

I would recommend this job to anyone looking for their first job at Heathrow Airport. This is because it’s a easy way for anyone to get a Blue Heathrow ID and gain Customer service experience.

Fun work place

Enjoyed working for icts learnt alot about aviation security. During my time there worked on many different contracts within the company. Mainly based at Heathrow.

Poor management

Unfair treatment and poor management . Lots of Holiday and working hours error.. made employees pay Back telling they had taken excess holiday. Treating Employees according to their Skin and race.

Good place to work

Good place to work if you get the right post -decent hourly pay though waiting 6 weeks for first pay was a hard slog ,not nice others get paid allowances you don’t for sane shift and work

Nice company name

This job will lead you to harm yourself due to the early hours starting 1am 2am, also about the wages you get it 15 days in delay after a very stressful month. Prepare yourself to deal with 3 or 4 thousand angry passengers per day. Working environment it's similar like a very busy kitchen in a crowded restaurant with supervisors behind you, all the stuff work there maximum 3 months because they didn't read reviews of ICTS management before accepting the job.I can't recommend it to any body.

Treated awfully

I wouldn’t recommend this job at all. Pay is low considering the level of responsibility you have and the hours are awful, there’s no work life balance and management aren’t flexible at all. You work 6 on 3 off, 3 earlies (2-4am starts) and 3 lates (9am-12pm starts) and are expected to work 10+ hours, 1 break if you’re lucky and stay at night for any delays which happen pretty much every day. A lot of the colleagues are friendly but you also get the ones who spread rumours and gossip like they’re still in school. Company doesn’t care about the staff that have stayed with them then wonder why the turnover is extremely high. No reason to stay when you’re worked to your limit every day.The nature of the job itself is interesting and enjoyable but it’s not worth it.

High colleague turn over

Constantly understaffed and a very high turn over of staff. Company not understandable of child care needs and expect you to work very unsociable hours and are not understanding and flexible.

Always pressure on work with less sala

The management who worked in this company will never let you come up in life they always try to keep officer the same level they very much use officers. I have seen so many things in this company the deserving candidates will never get a chance to go forward in the management level in this company.no bonus are paid on time have to ask for it good manager left this company.

Talk the talk..but that is it!

They talk a good game to get contacts, as soon as its given to them, you don't see them and they don't have any staff like they promised. If they do come in, its usually because they cant supply staff and they come in to cover, but just sit on their laptops not actually doing the work and let other guards run around doing twice the work. Basic leave entitlement, no sick pay, no benefits, just basic stuff from a very basic company. they expect you to stay on at the drop of a hat if they have no cover but don't offer extra money, just the standard rate. these companies need to understand that staff that are looked after and appreciate will go that extra mile. and when you have had enough and decide to leave, you get no exit interview no nothing, not even a little thank you for all your hard work...JUST AVOID!!

Fun working environment just poorly paid.

Good team leaders. Interesting job. Good people to work with. Hours are good. Working in the airport is fun and different. Lots of potential to move on in company and do different things.

Good experience

There is always a manager ready to listen and quickly starting to fix any issues. A very friendly environment in which you can feel comfortable. Very good quality service and excellent staff in the team working together.

I’d recommend avoiding this company management are not great and if you are ever lucky enough to get a site visit they sit in the office and ignore you and don’t address anything

Decent working environment and clothing

I’m happy with my job environment and decent clothing am given.Working in a seven star building comes with a huge responsibility but with clear defined roles am always meeting targets.The only mitigating factor is the wage. As inflation is on the rise, I urge management both building and ICTS to adhere to the plights of all security staff and adjust our wage upwards. Although the wage is not too bad but Napoleon will always ask for more.

The company has lost it over recent years and have fell out of contact with what is needed to fulfil the needs of the customer.They really don't care about their staff.Avoid at all costs

Peacefully

Average per hour should be improved for Security Officers, and some rewards will be nice from time to time. Night shift average should increase.The uniforms should be updated or changed at all.

Avoid this company

Horrible place avoid if possible, treated terribly by management, long hours , finishing at 9pm starting at 5am next morning (very stressful and unhealthy) High pressure constantly watched and tested for rubbish wages !!!!! Holidays and shift swaps impossible to take

Better jobs at the airport and better paid

Not a hard job but very much a if the supervisor likes you your in for a easy shift kind of company otherwise get used to being out in the rain a lot. Management constantly scrambling for contracts and dont seem to know or care whats happening on the shop floor. Dont expect any job security or to be kept on if your not white.

Very limited to no opportunities of progressing in the industry at icts. No work -life balance . Management dont know what they they are doing

Terrible place to work. Management are Clueless. No work/ life balance. Will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you in the door then lie to you and not deliver what they promised at the interview stage. Very early starts and long shifts. Very poor rate of pay and zero benefits.

Okay experience

Decent management You will be required to stand for Long periods of hours Good rota to keep things less boringFree hot drinks on site, cycle to work scheme is a huge pro if you live within the area
