I have worked in care for over 10 years and I can honestly say Ideal are the best care company I have worked for, their values and morals for our residents are everything I stand for and work for. All the staff (in house, head office, directors etc) are always on hand for support and advice

Challenging but very rewarding job.

Each day for me is different, reprioritising sometimes every few minutes. The challenges are real as I'm dealing with people. The job is hard but so rewarding. It's like working in a five star hotel where the Residents live how they want. Everyone is friendly. Care is hard, but it takes a special kind of person to do what we do. 12 hour days working to a 3 on 3 off rota. I love being part of the Lime Trees family and really glad the Home Manager gave me a chance to shine. I would encourage anyone to apply. To see the Residents happy and enjoying life is the best part of my job.

Poor top leadership and bad reputation

Loved been working with all the hardworking staff, care workers show there best though the management so far I been working along with are very unsupportive especially in the north west area, however I met some wonderful people especially when I went to one of the home in York, in COVID time they were brilliant and supportive. Higher management only see the business we provide not the the individual efforts for the people welfare. Very disappointed after given 3 years to this company never ever gonna join them again 😔 and I will not recommend to anyone.
