Its a good place to be
IDEM Living really does make a difference to the lives of young people in their care. Each child is really valued and cared for and supported to reach their full potential. Children who have left their care often stay in touch and lasting relationships are formed - this is lovely. With regards to staff, most of the time they get it right, but like any organisation they wont please everyone and s...

Supportive, Caring Place for All
Since joining IDEM in March I have already accomplished so much more than I hoped I would by this stage. IDEM allows me the ability to create and think independently to problem solve, something which I have not had the opportunity to do in other roles.I have had the opportunities to take young people on days out, show them places and activities they thought they would never go, help them develop...

Supportive
I've been at IDEM for a year and a half now and throughout I've felt supported and trusted. Throughout my time here I have met nearly all of senior management and been made to feel like I matter, and not just like another member of staff. I have been allowed to progress through multiple positions, which have all come with pay rises and training. My work life is balanced and I feel the company are...

Great place to work
I have only been with IDEM for around 4 months as a deputy manager in a children's residential home, however, in this space of time I have seen what an inclusive place this is to work. The staff ensure there is a happy, fun environment whilst equally ensuring to be productive and achieve brilliant things with the young people. IDEM has shown to be different to other places I have worked, this is s...

By far the best company to work for
This has got to be the best company to work for in the industry by far. The staff are brilliant and are really supportive of each other, the management always have time for you and are invested in the staff as individuals to achieve their own goals as well as the goals of the team. It has a real family environment and the young people really are at the heart of all they do.
