Grounds Maintenance (Former Employee) - Northampton, Northamptonshire - 11 September 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOk, constant management change and over the top rules. Tools can be good depending on what depot you end up at. Lads on the ground are decent and work hard

Underpaid & Incentivised
Arborist (Former Employee) - West Midlands - 3 September 2023
I enjoyed the craft, but unfortunately they don't compete with other companies on salaries and benefits. They don't give sick pay neither and don't attempt to push their workers career further

No loyalty just a culture of backstabbing and bullying
Construction Site Manager (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 1 September 2023
Started of as a good company but went rapidly down hill as soon as the baldy one started trying to claw back his power . No loyalty no matter what you did.

Grounds Maintenance Operative (Former Employee) - England - 29 August 2023
Machinery out of date and some even unusable. Very high turn over of staff. Promised an awful lot and nothing is ever delivered. Machines not maintained. Lack of organisation. Very rarely a full time position is available. Good group of people to work with just they aren't around very long.
Pros
Early ish finishes
Cons
Most of it

Excellent ground staff, abysmal management
Park Keeper (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 16 August 2023
Colleagues were all excellent, would go out of their way to help, but management was appalling. In my first 3 months I only saw my supervisor a handful of times and his instructions were invariably confusing and incorrect. Weekend supervisors would often not bother to show up for work at all, so I'd be entirely unsupported. Extremely, needlessly long hours and a shift pattern that doesn't allow any kind of work/life balance. Was issued incorrect uniform and had to work in the rain without waterproofs for 3 weeks. So, so many issues. idVerde have a very high staff turnover and there are many reasons for that, but these issues probably won't be resolved as at idVerde grabbing lucrative contracts is far more important than staff wellbeing. Avoid!

Ok…
any job (Former Employee) - Coventry, West Midlands - 14 August 2023
No reward or recognition for employees. Constantly on a recruitment freeze. When someone leaves, not allowed to recruit so have to manage on your own. CEO doesn’t care and does nothing to improve the culture.

Idverde
Grounds Maintenance Operative (Former Employee) - Swindon, Wiltshire - 6 July 2023
I wouldn’t recommend working for this company. They are a hedge fund company.who profits goes to share holders. They are £700 million turnover and they pay the workers peanuts. They promise you everything you want to hear. However, that isn’t the case. Not mention they get through staff more than Thames, water or Wessex water. they need to look after the staff are not thinking about their big fat wallets
