IKEA doesn’t hire on experience or education. They hire on who you are, your morals, your demeanour and how those things line up with your values. Experience in the field you’re applying for is an advantage if it’s marketing or HR etc, but definitely not what they’re all about. IKEA have their own training programmes and a way they do things that is very different than any other retailer, they prefer in house training over anything you may have learnt before.
