Kitchen Porter (Former Employee) - various - 10 October 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedflexible work for various employers for fair pay rates. Most clients are professional but there are some exceptions. I had to stop because of payroll issues that were not sorted.

I've been working for Indeed Flex on and off and full time and also on the side of my main job for over 4 years now and it has been good as I got to see all these interesting locations, meet people and earn extra money. I recommend.

Plenty of shifts with flexible schedules
Waitress (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 2 October 2023
I love Indeed flex because I can choose my own schedule and how many hours I want to work each week. There’s always a plenty of shifts and I can cancel if anything happens or if I find a better opportunity for that day. And with their weekly payment it’s easy to plan your budget. Just have to play by the rules.

Good overall, but lack of shifts
Chef de partie (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 29 September 2023
The app is really good easy to use, but company needs to work on getting more clients in Glasgow. The adds employing new chefs for indeed flex keeps appearing on job searches, but there are lack of shifts already
Pros
Tech savvy
Cons
Lack of shifts/clients

Good extra income
Bartender (Current Employee) - Various - 28 August 2023
A good extra income for those who need something flexible. A lot of the time though there is a lack of shifts so I wouldn’t rely on it as the only income to have. Saying this indeed flex has taken me to some interesting places and pays well!
Pros
Pay, flexibility
Cons
Not always shifts available

There are no jobs offered, only get some shifts around Christmas time. I only have this job like some extra money , but sometimes I don't get jobs for few months

not understanding company
Bar staff/ waiting staff (Former Employee) - London, Greater London AND Glasgow - 6 August 2023
indeed flex is a balance of good and bad mostly the bad out weighing the good. when I first started indeed flex I started working in London gaining 13 certificates through the company all was well so was my rating stars. The more starts I would get the more shift offers I would have the job was supporting my living expenses as I'm estranged from family and supporting myself. I started working in more prestigious places and started realising my stars would go down over ridiculous reasons. Then I started working both London and Glasgow with indeed flex I used to always book my shifts in advance and attend, the company knew of my long term health condition and wasn't understanding as one time I didn't confirm my shift on time as I was hospitalised and realised my account got suspended and was no longer able to work with the company, this affected me mentally and financially. I finally understood no matter what my health condition would never be understood. I emailed the company explaing and offering to show my discharge letter which I shouldn't really be doing. I never got wrote back to ever since I've been trying to find a job to get back on my feet as cost of living is affecting me.
Pros
good pay
Cons
doesn't have a contact number for employees

Flexible and reasonable pay.
Driver (Current Employee) - Tamworth, Staffordshire - 29 July 2023
Good for flexibility. Quite enjoy being out on the road and seeing new places. This company has good management but unfortunately not enough shifts to make it a good option to stay long term.

No shifts, no confirmations
Freelance (Former Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 27 July 2023
Worst place to be here. No proper shifts. No respect to the work we do. Even if you take 1 day off because of emergency, you will be thrown out of the app

Flexible but often not enough shifts in a month
Sales Assistant (Current Employee) - Birmingham - 27 July 2023
It’s a fun environment that allows you meet both like minded and wildly diverse individuals and the flexibility of shifts offers a sense of comfort that typically would be ideal for maintaining a positive work-life balance. However, there’s often so little shifts available that you sometimes might not work for 1-2 months.
Pros
Choose shifts to fit your schedule, weekly pay
Cons
Can sometimes go weeks without shifts

Bar Staff (Former Employee) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire - 21 July 2023

Productive and fun place
Cleaner (Former Employee) - Rochdale, Greater Manchester - 14 July 2023
Their support system is great, they do help you if you have any queries in getting to work or about a shift or if you have any issues regarding your payslip.

No phone lines direct to call
Senior Sous Chef (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 26 June 2023
Well I used to get many work here but since COVID the jobs have dried up when I started in 2017 I have lots of offers and lots of jobs but now hardley nothing. All jobs are long hours and not much daytime work benefits are poor as they never get in touch with it's all on the app. Which is poor in my opinion.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Not many jobs

Varied places
Food Runner (Former Employee) - London - 8 June 2023
The people at Flex did not really care about how you were treated at the workplace, no actions taken against places where we were treated badly, they aim only to please the restaurants hiring the staff with nothing done to help the hied staff when we were treated badly at the workplace
Pros
No fixed hours
Cons
No respect towards workers

Good shifts but have to be quick.
Bar Staff (Former Employee) - Glasgow, Glasgow - 25 May 2023
The shifts were mostly in hotels for agency. Good places, but the jobs come and go so fast you have to be quick on the draw and it's not always reliable work.
