Not Worth it

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
I spent a year at Integral, nice new offices, some nice management. Completley unrealistic workload, bad culture, underpaid(although this was changing to be marginally better) poor shift pattern and flexibility, the company has some fundamental flaws in lack of resources/engineers, overall extremely mediocre

Dont bother

After working here the staff retention is ridiculous. After the first bit of training you are left to you own devices. Although the 'team leaders' try to assist they don't really know what they are doing themselves. Most people leave after a couple of weeks/ months. In regards to booking holidays make sure you do it early or there are excuses as to why you cant have it (normally because there short staffed, but its always short staffed). Watch what you get put on for weekend shifts as you might get all the lates if someone on your team is a 'team leader' favourite they will get the better shifts above you. All in all I would keep scrolling and look for something else

Pros

The people (most of them)

Cons

All of the above and more

How are they still going?

Finished used to be one of the big boys everyone just waiting for redundancy no contracts losing work every week. Wrong management in place no qualifications required to be a manager or engineer. To go from a busy non stop company to this is a joke for any new engineers starting netflix and disney channels are a must need something to do in the day.

Pros

Work hours

Cons

Having to listen to non qualified managers

Promise the earth and deliver nothing

Great to start with great work colleagues. Non existant training, reckless attitude to safety when working on specialist equipment. Management are unbelievably oblivious to what people are having to do on the ground

Pros

Nice working colleagues

Cons

Lack of responsibility re. training

Nice place to work

I worked for about a year in the company, and I can recommend it to others. Great management team, and colleagues, even though I didn’t get along well with a few others. This is normal anyways. On the whole, Integral is a good place to work.

Awful Place to Work

Too much gossiping behind peoples backs. Team Managers have little experience (or if they have they don't use it). They will send any engineer to attend any job - just to meet the SLA's. Admin team have no idea what they're doing when invoicing clients. Steer clear - plenty of better jobs out there.

Where to begin?

I saw them change from a large vibrant company to a pale shadow of it's former self. The helpdesk will send anyone to a job, regardless of skillset, just to meet SLAs. Work was non existant, with hardly any contracts left. Once upon a time, client would be happy to see you, now they ask if you have come to look at a job again and how many photos are you going to take? The helpdesk are quite frankly shocking, with no people skills, and a more than happy to either send two men to a single job, or no one to a two man job. They use a tablet system that is a least 10 years out of date.Managers have no respect for workers, and the workers are at rock bottom.

Pros

Really good engineers, who are treated poorly.

Cons

The high and mighty promise pay rises to match the industry, then are more than happy to think of any excuse under the sun not to give it.

Good

Good place to work, small and friendly team at our site and I really enjoyed working here. I only left as I needed full time work rather than part time.

Meh

ProsContract managers were very approcable and helpful. The panic of potenial redundancy enabled me to get a better job elsewhere. They taught me how to avert the truth and waffle on to clients evading important questions.ConsTraining was nothing like it is in the midst of the floor.Don't get paid for employee referrals despite advertisements. Unable to breathe after calls as they are CONSTANT and management who don't understand the AFTER CALL WORK code take you out casuing mass overwhelm for multiple staff.Having pay purposefully mucked up so they can avoid paying you and blame what you're owed saying it goes towards tax. Clients often mislead and lied too. Often having agents take complaints and unable to divert them to the complaints team or higher management, it's unfortunate. Advise for management Favoritism isn't cute and has no place in the workplace. Start managing your new teams better and allow staff to work from home, it is a work from home job you're just not wanting to stop micromanaging your more than capable staff.

Was a great company!

Before it got sold to JLL, this used to be a great place to work. Then, overnight everyone became a manger without a bloody clue what they were doing! The good staff & engineers left before it went completely down hill! Such a shame 😔

Contracts managers were great

Ok place to work.. swings and roundabout. Wasn’t the best pay. Management of the helpdesk wasn’t great but the contracts manager and engineers were a pleasure to work with

Not great

The wages are good but as for the planning of jobs is concerned its chaos. There is a new system in place but it doesn't seem to be working and now there is ban on adjustible spanners, unfortunately this will not work in the real world!

Disgraceful

Management is an absolute joke. no management training with 0 people skills. The whole set up is a joke - no clear process or procedures. No training given. just expected to get on with it . Terrible place to work

Pros

Cons

as above

Used to be ok now no go.

Well this place used to be a good not great but with another new CEO came new problems and even less management. There was a kind of face fit kind of culture and the lack of structured training was abysmal. Higher level turnover was baffling. They showed their hand when they decided to remove the most successful office they had and let the people who did the hard work go.

Pros

People, work, location, coffee, water

Cons

Pay, Ceo, upper management, Hr

Workplace

Didn't enjoy going to work after a while. Company struggle to hire staff and when they eventually do can't keep them. Some of the work is heavy lifting.

Pros

Bi weekly pay.

Cons

Can't hold on to staff.
