Dental Nurse in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Nhs targets met
Assist dentist on a daily basis. Cross infection control procedures carried out effectively according to the QCC standards and policies. All patients treated equally with respect. Company management creates a very approachable atmosphere. We are always updated with new policies and regulations. We work as a team most of the times but sometimes there is bickering when people are looking for favours from the manager. The hardest part of the job is working with an incompetent dentist. I enjoy giving advice to patients about what to expect from their dentist and calming nervous ones. If ever I have the opportunity I love giving oral health instructions, that is why I am looking for a position that can offer me that opportunity. I did it in the past now I miss it.

not a good company
High turnoverof staff, no support given. Would not recommend. No thanks for doing job well. Unless your a dentist then if you havea problem, you needto watch your back, Dentists are self employed but no support for the employed.

Improvement of Staff Support and Management required
I enjoy my day to day job very much, however i feel that the staff need more support and that too much focus is on targets and not on patient care or staff
