Everyone who works here are young, driving individuals which is the exact culture you need to be surrounded by if you're looking to be successful.

A brilliant place to work
Associate Consultant (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 5 June 2019
A typical day at Ion Search starts out with a group pipeline meeting where the whole office discusses our successes from the day before and what our plan for the day is!
I have learned so so much about the industry and what it takes to not only be an excellent recruiter, but how to be resilient with difficult situations.
The management team are always on hand to help with literally anything you need at all, as we often work as a team and it is a group effort!
The culture here is really intense and fast paced but it means that you are surrounded by really hard working individuals!
The hardest part of the job is the set backs that come from recruitment, but off the back of that they best part of the role is the relationships you are able to form with candidates and clients!
Pros
Great team, Bonuses, Culture

Motivating and Successful workplace
Executive Associate Consultant (Former Employee) - Liverpool - 24 October 2017
A typical day started at 8:30 and finished at 6:00. I learnt to work to KPI driven targets and organise my work effectively to do so. The most enjoyable part of the job was communicating with candidates and attempting to help them in their careers.

Fun, Fast-paced and Rewarding Business
Training and Development Manager (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 26 April 2017
I started working at ion Search a few months ago and I can honestly say I've never had a more diverse, interesting and challenging job. You literally learn something new every day and there is rarely a dull moment in the office.
It's been a really exciting time to join the business as they are growing rapidly, having opened the first international office in Amsterdam this year and launching several new projects and recruitment brands. With that growth comes a lot of opportunity for personal and professional development. If you are hardworking and ambitious with this company the sky really is the limit!
It is one of the most vibrant and energetic working cultures I have ever been a part of. There is a really solid team dynamic here at ion Search where you are well supported and everybody's successes are celebrated. They are also a business that likes to have fun! They promote a very sociable environment with drinks on a Friday, monthly team nights out, group activities, directors' lunch club and all-expenses paid staff parties twice a year. Ultimately, everyone is very passionate about what they do and this creates a very positive and encouraging office atmosphere that makes coming to work really enjoyable.
I've also never come across a recruitment or sales business in Liverpool or anywhere in the North West with such a generous and aggressive commission structure. You have genuine earning potential of over £100,000 in your first year!
I've never worked in a business quite like it and would strongly recommend ion Search if you are looking to start a career in recruitment -
Pros
Amazing earning potential, uncapped commission up to 40%, quarterly bonuses, holiday incentives, car allowances, team nights out, lunch club, fun working environment, staff parties

ion Search is my first role in recruitment after graduating. In just a few months I have reaped the rewards of an extensive training and development structure.
ion Search really invest in potential and offer solid support at whatever level you enter the business. The goals of the business are transparent, there is no shying away from hard work and you have to be self-motivated and ambitious to keep up with the pace.
The team are really lovely and celebrate each other's successes.
The benefits and the earning opportunities are something you rarely see out of London. In this sense, it is a truly valuable platform for any driven individuals.
Pros
Breakfast, team lunches, team drinks, holiday incentives, progression

Exciting company to be part of and great office culture
Recruitment Consultant (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 25 April 2017
I come with a 3 ½ years sales background so I was pretty new to recruitment, especially Rec 2 Rec – but oh wow did I learn fast!! I quickly became confident in this fast pace and exciting industry. My quick adjustment and development is down to every single person who works in Ion search- everyone is really helpful and wants you achieve your very best potential.
I don’t regret making the move into recruitment and I can only recommend Ion Search, it really is a fun and exciting office environment and culture to be part of.

Fun and friendly workplace
Team Assistant (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 18 April 2017
I've been working at ion Search for just a matter of months now and I can already see the results of the in depth training and support I have received since day one.
I feel confident in my role and know that if there's anything I need, guidance and advice is always readily available.
The team are amazing, everyone is really supportive and drive each other to succeed.
I'm an apprentice here at ion and I can vouch for their apprenticeship schemes being the perfect platform to start your career. I have been provided with a clear development plan so I know exactly what I need to do in order to be where I want to be within the business.
Overall, ion Search are a great company to become a part of, especially if you're looking to pursue an apprenticeship.

Driven, rewarding, mature sales environment
Senior Recruitment Consultant (Current Employee) - Liverpool - 30 March 2017
My own background was different to Rec 2 Rec. I spent 15 years in Technical contingent recruiting dealing with engineers.
What a change!
Rec 2 Rec is a fast moving but rewarding environment and Ion have the atmosphere to help you succeed.
Within 2 weeks I was learning brand new recruitment techniques and honing my sales technique.
Ion offers a London boutique company vibe but well placed in the cultural centre of Liverpool.
I can recommend Ion search for those interested in Rec 2 Rec and stepping outside their comfort zone.
Be warned however, Rec 2 Rec is hard work and not for everybody, however if you are hard working, resilient and determined to succeed this is a great place to be.
Pros
Social events, mature atmosphere, great office
Cons
None - if you are the right recruiter!

progression is there if you work hard enough
Marketing Manager (Former Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 29 March 2017
ion Search is a great place to work and really accelerate your career. I started the business as a communications associate and within 8 months I was hiring for my own team and was promoted to Marketing Manager.
Any advice, mentorship and support were given whenever needed. I believe anyone can achieve amazing things here however this is mutually exclusive with working incredibly hard every single day .
Pros
Breakfast, culture, progression
Cons
n/a

Supportive and Rewarding Environment
Research Associate (Current Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 28 March 2017
Having worked at ion Search for just over a year now, I can honestly say I've never had a more challenging and rewarding career.
I have been entrusted with a lot of responsibilities and been given the chance to prove myself within the organisation. Because of this, I feel I have been given the prime opportunity to really kick start my career and grow both personally and professionally.
Transparent promotion targets are set in place from day one meaning you know exactly what you need to do in order to be where you need to be. This is what has set ion Search apart from my previous employment; progression is not only readily available, but expected of you. Nobody at ion Search remains stagnant as we are a team of high calibre professionals who are willing to work hard in order to advance our careers, invest in ourselves and develop.
My favourite aspect of working at ion Search is that I see the results from my own individual work which is refreshing and drives me to always want to exceed expectations.
ion Search have offered me the perfect platform to utilise my skills, to analyse my strengths and weaknesses and work on turning my weaknesses into strengths. The training and development I have received here has been second to non and has equipped me with everything I need to really hit the ground running.
Our environment is supportive, entrepreneurial, fast paced and success is acknowledged, rewarded and celebrated.
If you are a hard working, driven individual who is looking to start their career in recruitment, ion Search would be perfect for you.
Pros
Cash bonuses, 40% Commission Structure, Training and Development, Holiday Incentives, Car Allowances, Rolex Watches, Sociable, Netflix Account, Breakfast Club
