Not the best salary good if to get a job asap if needed but wouldn’t like to stay long
Not the best salary good if to get a job asap if needed but wouldn’t like to stay long, managers get stressed out easily and take it out on the staff which is not fair
Sales Assistant in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Fast pace and stressful at times.
Staff were always friendly and management were nice. Can be fast paced at times and can be stressful. Rate of pay very low for the work compared to competitors.

It's utter poo
It's dog, I don't like it, bad pay, slow shifts, management is run like a old pyramid scheme, I'd rather work at makkies for 60 hours per week, oi makkies hiring people, don't get any ideas
Sales Assistant in London, Greater London

Fun and productive but terrible pay
I’m 19 and live alone and the fact the company is so far behind the times and the fact they pay their staff based on age is ridiculous and I feel the staff deserve more
Customer Care in Bury, Greater Manchester

Would not recommend
Like a boot camp! You can’t progress in the company unless your a fav of one of the managers so not a fair progression system. Wages are terrible and you’re just a number to them, they don’t care about you. No benefits (apparently free fruit is a benefit?) and the shifts aren’t great either. The one good thing are the majority of the staff

Told me to have a sit and firstly asked me about my work experience in my previous job and how much notice period I have to give. Then they were just reading the questions for a sheet of paper. Some of them were “Why do you want to work for JD” “ was there a time you’ve gone above and beyond for a customer” “ how would you be able to tell if someone is suspicious of theft” “ where do u see yourself win 5 years”
