Excellent career development
Jacobs always invest in developing their staff. I have been on numerous courses and developed significantly since joining. Management are very supportive, however sometimes the hierarchy may not be as supportive in certain situations.

Maximum work - min pay.
Fast paced environment as expected. You'll be paid the bare minimum for working hard, no support from management, no job security or routes for advancement. You're a number. If you screw up, you're gone.

Engineering Company gone Corporate
Jacobs is now very corporate and in my experience operates a tick-box culture. Its most definitely the place to be if you're female or from an ethnic minority. If your male 30+, then don't waste your time with this company - there are better places to work on your career.

Overall positive experience
Was employed on a contract basis of fixed term. Even for a contractor it was an overall good experience and would be glad to work for Jacobs again. All managers involved with my project were excellent, supportive and friendly.
