What is Jardine Motors Group sick leave policy? How many sick days do you get per year?
We’re sympathetic to genuine cases of illness or other problems which might make absence unavoidable. In-line with our sickness and absence policy & company handbook, we operate a discretionary sickness pay policy, at the discretion of your General Manager or Divisional Director. If you required four or more days off in a row, you would be entitled to statutory sick pay, provided that you’re eligible and have applied the correct processes. If you required time off, you could expect a return to work meeting and support from your management team on your return.Asked 22 January 2019

We require standard pre-employment checks for all roles of: 5 years of references and right to work. For Financial Conduct Authority regulated roles, including Sales and Service, we require FCA checks which take place at interview stage and a background check after offer acceptance. For Management roles we complete a detailed background check and also FCA checks, as above. The enhanced background checks takes place after offer acceptance. All background checks take 2-6 weeks and will not push back start dates, if they are not yet fully completed.

If you were to leave Jardine Motors Group, what would be the reason?
From our exit interviews, we know the main reason colleagues leave us is due to change in career, often relating to career progression. We invest heavily in career development but understand we can’t always fulfil the exact career path / time scale of promotion that colleagues are looking for due to low levels of attrition in our business. However, we proactively keep in touch with those who leave the Group, with many re-joining.Asked 23 August 2019
