The long and short of it is it’s very political. If you are willing to lose your integrity and start licking derrière you’ll go a very long way. If you’re decent and honest you won’t.

Bullying culture top down, management are ineffective. Also if you enjoy or have previous experience in gossiping culture you will fit in , if you do not agree this is a positive working environment don’t bother , and you would think raising moral and lack of positivity of culture in team and organisation would be taken seriously and unfortunately I have to conclude it does not . It does t help matters that some of the management are female and actually encourage this .. not a sexist comment just honest and Factual . Some female staff dislike this old fashioned gossiping women telling tale environment ,Evidence of this was a female member of staff was brought in to a meeting where 2 other female managers thought it was appropriate to tell her that it’s come to their attention that people are being rude and talking about her Behind her back , she then has to come back to work and work closely with the whoever it is that’s done this instantly causing more gossiping about who it might be ... need I say more
