Extremely good company to work for, I feel very lucky to be employed by them.
Travel Advisor (Current Employee) - Remote - 6 November 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I’ve had numerous health issues and some awful personal problems since working for Jet2Holidays. They have been extremely supportive and have put in place many things to help me continue in my role, they have been really caring and made me feel valued as an employee. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Targets are high but achievable, the systems are being up graded which is stressful but you are given lots of training and provided with the tools to be successful in your role. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very friendly and helpful, if you have a genuine problem you are listened to and actions are taken to resolve the issue so you can be happy in your role.

Hard to Progress Internally
Travel Advisor (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 6 November 2023
Woth them for nearly 4 years, was asked to help them with training and made to belive full time opportunity, thia was not the case and sent back to my old job, with a pay cut. Tried 6 times to move internally to other departments with no success so lwft the company for a better paid job. They keep asking more and more from you as well so you are doing the work of several departments and the pay doesnt match the job.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
No work life balance or internal progression

Good product, bad culture and management
Regional Manager (Former Employee) - Leeds - 5 November 2023
The management employ a bullying culture and expect a 24 hour concierge service. Terrible culture. But the company has a great product and incredible people. Just really bad management, with huge egos.

Cabin Crew (Current Employee) - Manchester Airport - 5 November 2023
Typical day is long hours however the company really does look after their team and if you have any concerns management and crewing are only a phone call away. It’s amazing company with great pay scheme and lovely colleagues.
Pros
Pay and management
Cons

No life
Travel Advisor (Former Employee) - Home Based - 1 November 2023
My time at jet2 as a travel advisor was a con. They told us alls we do is make sales for customers but during our 7 week training they throw a spanner in the works and put more duties on us which we wasn’t told would happen. Good luck getting time off as your request will be rejected. Good luck if you’re ill because you’re getting threatened to be sacked. They make you work over the time you’re supposed to work, don’t offer any toil. Also, god forbid if you’re 30 seconds late you’re getting a late form to fill out. If your systems stop working and you’re unable to work until IT get the system back up and running, you won’t be paid for that time frame. The bonus scheme is a con, they do anything in their power to jeopardise you getting your commission. The list goes on, please don’t waste your time applying for jet2 as they don’t care about you they just want to take customers monies to benefit themselves. Which I may also add, they force you to manipulate customers into buying a holiday, with the added extras. If we don’t feel comfortable it goes against us.

Meet lots of new people throughout the company, commission is good and are treated well. Holiday availability is the downfall and hours are very long.

Do not be fooled
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 4 October 2023
Honestly don’t be fooled on recruitment day or training it’s the most toxic work environment ever! Have you stood on your feet for 12hours a day if you go to the toilet outside your allocated break then your in trouble the supervisors speak to you like a child you have a file and they right every little thing down you do wrong i would not wish this job on my worse enemy please please if your considering it please rethink about it there’s millions of better jobs out there if u want to work in the airport go to swisport, tui or dnata !!!!

It’s hard
Flight Attendant (Current Employee) - Glasgow, Glasgow - 3 October 2023
Long hours, no sleep, no flexibility might be ideal for some people. A lot of pressure and micromanaging going on in bases too. Just my personal experience

Great friends, poor management
Customer Helper (Current Employee) - Manchester Airport - 3 October 2023
The friends you make when you start your training and in the role, will be life long friends. They get you through the shifts! Typical day was really varied but could change at the drop of a hat, which isn't unusual for the airport. Management were a real let down. They overlooked great members of staff and didn't give them the recognition they deserve/deserved. They let slackers get away with letting the team down and clowning around. The job it's self was actually enjoyable with the variety, but the management let it down. There's a high turnover of staff which isn't surprising.
Pros
Pay was ok, colleagues, training was good
Cons
Long hours, unsociable hours, management

No work life balance, kpis and micromanaging
Travel Advisor (Former Employee) - Remote - 29 September 2023
Work here if you’re all for favouritism, no life, constant headache about kpis, enjoy threats about getting the sack if you’re ill etc etc you are a robot and that’s that. Good luck.
