Delivery Driver in Redruth, Cornwall

Terrible
Would never work for this company again, I'd rather be homeless and living in a shop doorway, you would get treated better by strangers passing yiu by in the street, management dont give a toss about their workers, you are just a cash cow to them

Banged up overpriced vans
Shocking company to work for. Battered up vans that they charge you 182 a week for. Vans constantly breaking down as they aren't maintained. Random emails from the company accusing you of van damage when you know you haven't but you don't have a leg to stand on. Once christmas is out the way you will be lucky to get 3 or 4 shifts a week but once the van is paid you will make about £200.

Not for the faint hearted
In a 9 hour working day, you are allowed 5 minutes to load the van. It then takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive to the first delivery. It also takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive back to the depot. That leaves 6 hours and 15 minutes to to do upwards of 105 deliveries. This can be up to 200 packages. Meal breaks? What meal breaks! The only blessing is that you can use the van privately. Admittedly you get charged 19p per mile for private use including travel to and from work. Not an easy job to do. Amazon time the routes. The pratnav sends you some weird and wonderful ways. It has put me off of multidrop for life.

unprotected and unfair
they are not friendly. they pretend that they are friendly and helpful. the wage is not fair. just they work for the company and no insurance for the worker if it happen anything to him as dog bit.the time of work is at least 11 hours. if any accident happens to the Van or any property because the driver . he must pay the cost repair.the insure of the van is third party insurance.Never work with them or recommend it to anyone.and it not easy to find a toilet

Horrible
DON’T BOTHER! This is the worst company I’ve ever came across. You work stupid hours. Half of your wage gets taken off you for van rentals, fuel, amin fees. You get just under half of the wage you made. The head office are rude horrible people. They don’t care about anything other then there parcels getting delivered. I was in hospital with my pregnant girlfriend and was told I had to come into work or I’d be stood down.
