Would never work for this company again, I'd rather be homeless and living in a shop doorway, you would get treated better by strangers passing yiu by in the street, management dont give a toss about their workers, you are just a cash cow to them

Shocking company to work for. Battered up vans that they charge you 182 a week for. Vans constantly breaking down as they aren't maintained. Random emails from the company accusing you of van damage when you know you haven't but you don't have a leg to stand on. Once christmas is out the way you will be lucky to get 3 or 4 shifts a week but once the van is paid you will make about £200.
Pros
I got out.
Cons
Really long hours over Xmas period. No family life. Battered vans.

In a 9 hour working day, you are allowed 5 minutes to load the van. It then takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive to the first delivery. It also takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive back to the depot. That leaves 6 hours and 15 minutes to to do upwards of 105 deliveries. This can be up to 200 packages. Meal breaks? What meal breaks! The only blessing is that you can use the van privately. Admittedly you get charged 19p per mile for private use including travel to and from work. Not an easy job to do. Amazon time the routes. The pratnav sends you some weird and wonderful ways. It has put me off of multidrop for life.
Pros
Use of van privately
Cons
Not an easy job to do, they expect you to do too much .

DON’T BOTHER! This is the worst company I’ve ever came across. You work stupid hours. Half of your wage gets taken off you for van rentals, fuel, amin fees. You get just under half of the wage you made. The head office are rude horrible people. They don’t care about anything other then there parcels getting delivered. I was in hospital with my pregnant girlfriend and was told I had to come into work or I’d be stood down.

Great team on site, always helpful and supportive. It's hard work but the same as any other courier role I've had, you've got to be a grafter. Pay could be slightly better but that's just Amazon. Overtime was good.
Cons
Long hours

When you finish your allocated parcels you have to do more work at the end of your shift. You start at 8am and work right through till 6.30pm. If you finish earlier you must do more work. You do not get a break at all. Its bringing the name of amazon into disrepute with lies. They DO NOT pay your wages in full or on time. You end up getting about £55 a day wages after all there deductions. PLEASE AVOID ITS A CON!!!!!

Do not work for them they treat you really badly and don’t care about you, some management did but the company as a whole don’t they’ll drop you without warning and have been known to leave drivers they’ve dropped stranded with no way home by taking their van without warning (not me but people I know)
Pros
You get a van
Cons
Everything else

I'm currently working for JHMC logistics and it is absolutely terrible! You have to work 5 weeks in advance before getting a dime. They say our hours are till 7 but still phone up asking you to do more even though it's nearly 7'o'clock. Basically if you're good at the job and you're fast you just get told to take more off of people who clearly can't be bothered so therefore they get help. It's honestly backwards!
Pros
Free coffee machine on-site
Cons
Expected to work over your contracted hours

the hours you put in and then after they take out van rental you get less than the day rate they say. The vans are mostly smashed and shouldn't be on the road. The only decent thing was my manager and lead driver who worked hard to make sure staff were happy. Sadly there is a high turn over of staff You are self employed w

Very unpredictable work patterns, you could be on the work list at the evening the suddenly off in the morning visa versa. This makes it exortremely hard to either plan or save not knowing each day wether you will actually be working or not. False advertisement in regards to pay, as they do not include all the payments you have to pay out. I have alod never worked for a company who do not care about there workers like this one do

- you work 4 weeks without pay and they don't tell you. You get a scrap van and expected to make 100 plus deliveries in farms. When the jobs are few you don't get any deliveries but you still need to for your van. You work till late 6 days a week so no family life. If you resign without completing the notice period they will deduct a full week's wages

I strongly advise any one to avoid this company absolute joke from the start to finish, don't listen to there bullsh*t about a good wage, you work ridiculous hours 13-14hrs a day they take £450 a fortnight off you for a batterd van, constantly have to ring head offices for disputes in wages, these at head office are the worst of them all! They have bad attitudes, sarcastic, the phone down on you including the manager! This company shouldn't even be aloud to operate, I've never known anything like them! Avoid for your own sake

Absolutely terrible company to work for, they don't tell you you have to pay for your toxicology test, and dbs check, was supposed to be starting on what they call a nursery route, hhmmm they piled way more parcels on me than they should have done, People on site was telling me they had been underpaid by £300 and £400, they charge you for using their work phone, I applied to start from my own area, then the day i passed the training they then told me i would have to drive an hour away if i still wanted the job, and expected me to pay petrol, They charge you for your van even on the days your not working, tell you that if u did leave your van then you probably wont get it back as it will have been given to somebody else, I was supposed to have been paid by them today(nothing in my bank) On the last day that i worked, they messed up my round, i had lots of parcels but nothing on my itenery for them, and because i brought them back as i wasn't allowed to give them out as not on my list, they then told me they was going to have to let me go, I then get another phone call telling me i had to take the van back to over an hour away or else they was charging me £250!!! alot of people left in a short amount of time..

Worked there for a couple months, I was working 11 hours almost every day, 6 days a week for and was only being paid about 450 a month if that. Upper management doesn’t care about anyone, for example over Christmas, pay was meant to change from every fortnight to every week, so after we got paid for the last fortnight we was told we would be paid a weeks wage the following week, so obviously everybody changed their direct debits etc, but then on the day we would be paid was told that they’ve decided to change it so that we were now working another week in hand and that we would have to wait another week for 1 weeks pay, essentially meaning that for this month I was only going to be paid 3 weeks wage and would basically not see the money for the previous week until I quit. Overall it’s just a horrible place to work and unless your fine with leaving the house at 8am and returning at 8-10pm 5/6 days a week (depending on what they tell you you have to do) for a few hundred pound a month, I would avoid this job at all costs.

Your charged van rental and fuel to and from work. My role was with amazon who expect you to work over 10 hours a day which is well below minimum wage
