Low pay for stressful job
You got minimum wage for one of the most stressful jobs ever. Constantly understaffed, especially on weekday evenings because they were obsessed with ‘sAViNg oN LaBOuR’. Some team leaders definitely got promoted due to favouritism and/or the time they’d been with the company and not because they were actually good enough. They’ve apparently upped the wage so all above 18 get £9.50 and below get the 18 minimum wage so that’s a bit better. When I was there they’d have 16 & 17 year olds on £4 an hour doing closes until sometimes 1am

Didn't enjoy
Personally when starting off to get a job part time as a student i wouldn't recommend. Zero hours and it's just stress and pressure, a lot of the time the organisation is horrible leading to customers having to wait so long to get their food. Management can be laid back and your shifts can end up being cancelled here and there. Better off looking into retail.

Stressful at the time
The job itself can be very stressful as you have to deal with alot of customers. However working as a team helped and made work more enjoyable . All the coworkers were genuinely nice .

Repetitive and fun but busy.
Will work there again if younger. It was local and arrange to fit and understand a varied environment. To build work experience and qualifications. Activity filled.

Interview questions

They asked if i had any experience in this team member job role which i did not. They also asked why i would like to be a part of KFC restaurants.

Asked me more about my holiday than requirements for the job but did ask about my personality. They ask you to do a rap in a group of people you met an hour ago, build a KFC house out of straws and do an ice breaker of "who am i", they also ask you why you want to work at KFC and why you applied/where you applied.
