I work 64 hours a week and mostly 12 hours and only get a half hour break
Depends. I was covering a lot of shifts so was doing 60 hour weeks. But I get on average 40 hours a week. Lowest I’ve dropped to is 35. But my hours don’t usually change as a manager
For me it's 5-8 hours a day and 25ish to 30ish hours a week. The shifts are usually 9am-5pm or 4pm-11:30pm, with an ocassional odd shift (eg. 12pm-5pm, 5pm-10pm etc).
This is just me but I know it really depends on your contract, manager how many hours the shop can give and so on.
Absolutely shocking work past midnight then start again at 7 am
Long, no social life, no time for family change your shifts without asking make you finish at 1am back in for 7am or work 16 hour shifts
The hours are flexible but it is difficult to get used to and adjust it around your own schedule.
4 hours a week
Depends what your contract is.
Wide range of hours, depending on the store you work at they'll all have different standard shifts available. the more cross trained you are the more hours are available, if you can only do one job the less they'll need you, they like people who are cross trained who can swap jobs while people are on breaks or need to give people a change of jobs. typical opening hours range from 10.30-12 some store will open and close later and earlier, if you scheduled of an open or closing shift you'll have to be committed to staying earlier and later as to set up and clean up. it can be stressful as you'll have a time limit to get things done by as products have to be ready when the store opens and closing the store cleaning has to be done efficiently and properly as you'll want to go home as soon as you can. generally they are flexible with hours so you can have the same days off every week and the same hours in some cases.
Can you get 40 hour or more
