Do you get paid for training
Asked 23 September 2018
I had 2 full days training and promised to get paid after 3 months of probation for training and DBS. I never got paid back.
Answered 23 September 2018
Simple questions and examples. DBS and mandatory training on line before you can start.
Answered 20 March 2018
No they don’t like giving mileage The training is minimal, just enough to scrape through and that’s why they want recent experience so that they don’t have to give a lot of training
Answered 26 September 2018
If you are applying for Home care position full training is provided. If you are applying for Agency worker position as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or a Nurse you need to have at least 6 months experience in the last 2 years. It is not quite an Interview in the normal sense of the word. Its more a registration process. You will need to complete the application form of course. provide full work history since completion of education for at least 10 years. Provide 2 photo IDs and two proofs of address and any valid training certificates. You will also need to under go a criminal records check or DBS check or have a valid update service. You will then go through a short Q&A which is more like an interview.Once DBS and references are through and any training that is mandatory is complete you will be called in again for completion of induction and uniform and badge. You are now ready to go and proudly represent KarePlus and work in the Nursing Homes or in the community..
