Worked as a HCA in an elderly care ward. Us HCAs were treated like we were not people by senior staff. we had our breaks reduced during covid.We didn't even have our own break room we used to share a breakroom with the covid ward!.Nurses didn't care about patients and left us HCAs do all the work for them.The shift patterns were inhumane, 12 and half hours shifts but mixed between day and night in...
