Amazing and huge place to work in

Intensive Critical Care Nurse (Current Employee) - London - 18 August 2017

The hospital is a mayor complex of buildings, its huge. There are departments for every simple thing, many thousands of patientes are looked after in the wards every single day. Has the most advance medicine, innovative, modern and last advances in surgery and Intensive Critical Care. Very modern, very busy, quite overwhelming.

Crazy decisions

Worked at the PRUH for 20 years and saw a lot of changes - all for the worse. Too many managers, who do not understand what the people on the ground do and make nonsensical decisions. Secretaries are treated like dogs' bodies and their skills are not appreciated or even acknowledged. Not worth it unless you are happy to pick up anything any other department wants to throw at you with no support from your manager and end up feeling like you are going out of your mind.

Good so far

I haven’t observed anything yet, I’m just trying to know if I can go ahead and work with them. But so far so good they’ve kept clear communication with me are very friendly.
