Bad attitude by some team leaders
Tray washer (Former Employee) - Haydock, Merseyside - 17 June 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedJoke of a place with bad management and they will ban you from the site for absolutely nothing. Go in to work a full shift and sometimes you work 5 hours.

Very dishonest
Enforcement Officer (Former Employee) - Woolwich, Greater London - 26 May 2022
Not told about the targets until you start training shifts, you have to issue 5 fines per shift, most staff are miserable and dislike their job. You have to pay for travel while on duty and claim it back in expenses a lot of things hidden during the interview.

A nice place to work but very demanding over the amount of fines needed everyday very money driven
Environmental Enforcement Officer (Former Employee) - Sittingbourne - 8 May 2022
When I first started it was all ok after 2/3 weeks it’s not a nice place to work. You have to reach a certain amount of tickets a day. They even discriminate against people with disabilities. I was dismissed when i found out I had a hidden disability and getting treatment for it.

All a CON! Do not work for this company
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Huddersfield, West Yorkshire - 30 March 2021
Absolutely disgusted with this so called firm! Falsely advertised role and hours Shocking staff and rude on the phone when there’s an issue I started and ended my employment within a few days it was incredibly poor management and the contract in witch I declined was completely different to what I’d been told and offered at the shoddy interview they try and spruce up the job advertisement but in reality it’s a 0 hour contract in the fine print and make you work at totally random locations witch is not in the advertisement the company is a disgrace to the security industry I’ve reported them to trading standards your just a number to them and they treat you like rubbish! Beware and avoid! Don’t get conned

Nuisance phone culture
security officer (Former Employee) - Selby, North Yorkshire - 24 February 2021
They use telemarketers to harass you by phone ,Kingdome do not put remote interview on AD and do not respond through indeed .Once on there call list you will need to switch your phone off which is no good for night shift security and security on 24 hr call .Kingdom is unaware of the needs of the security officer to have rest and they do not send emails nor text to arrange appointments .Just rude arrogant inconsiderate ammeters causing a nuisance .They do not know our Security industry and it is better they stick to cleaning vacancies
Pros
no pros, it's a complete disaster
Cons
Failure to exercise professional etiquette, just cowboys/cowgirls

A business only interested in making money
Security Officer Turned down the position at interview (Former Employee) - London South East, Greater London - 30 December 2020
I have worked within the security industry and public service for years, my understanding was that when the SIA was introduced the industry would be much improved weeding out companies like these, non professional and only interested in money making, standards would be much improved and staff would be properly trained and paid as a professional. That hasn't happened.

Don't work for Kingdom - Never sign their one sided employment contract
Retail Security Officer (Former Employee) - York - 12 November 2020
Kingdom Security is not what you think it is............ it is not actually a Security Company it is a job agency and that is all. They are very deceitful when it comes to advertising jobs online, they basically create Click Bait and that is all. They will advertise a certain amount of hours per week, they will tell you if you are a security officer which store you will be working in every shift.......... and where. However when you get the employment contract to be signed, if you bother to read it, it does not state your job role. They state they can give you as little as 0 hours or indeed force you to do well beyond reasonable hours per week. They also state they can change your job role at a whim and insist not only you have to work anywhere in the UK but also the World. Complete and utter madness to sign such a contract and I refused end of. Keep well away from companies that decieve minimum wage workers unless of course you are a desperate shirt filler.

No much loyalty
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Inverness - 30 September 2020
Long hours sometimes finish 12 hours then asked to do another 12 with no break in between quite dangerous really when you had to travel to next location, as long as you do what they say fine but the company isn't loyal to there staff.
Pros
Left alone
Cons
24 hour shifts

Avoid at all costs
Team leader (Former Employee) - Lancashire - 29 September 2020
After working for this company for just over three years, I can honestly say it’s been a weight lifted of my shoulders leaving! Targets are how they work! You are expected to get 5 a day and if you don’t they will threaten you with an improvement notice! Wages are never correct! Pay rises only happen if your management or you get a promotion, bonus is spoken about but never seen in wages! Goal posts are changed weekly, no interest in staff safety, head office staff are rude, not a child friendly firm, hours change at the direction and you are expected to just change your home circumstances, not reliable, working on a zero hour contract by far the worst experience of my life they promise you everything but nothing is delivered do not be sucked in by the talk they talk.

Cons
Too many to list
