Good place to work
Good place to work but there are always few people trying to make your life harder... The management is supportive and open-minded but not the staff.

Stressful and very fast paced
Not the greatest of environments to work made to feel quite uneasy and uncomfortable by other staff members, Moaned at if not as fast as the other staffs don’t if you’re struggling other staff members laugh at you , the second you get hang of a job they move you onto another and you’re at square one again!

Avoid it if you can
It’s one of the worse place I worked. The work is seasonal, and after every season they ask you to get holidays (paid or unpaid). There are not shift premium. And the management are different every 6 month. Think twice before accept a job there.

Good pay poor environment
Kinnerton was a great job for ten years if all you want to do is the same thing everyday for the same money. Move out of that line and you become part of the race of selfish, ignorant and greedy people. With management and company policies changing from month to month there is no job security. The company finds it hard to commit to its staff. If you enjoy elbowing fellow employees out of the way to ensure your own advancement then this is the place for you. If you want to be part of a team and have a feeling of worth then avoid. And make no mistake the company will drop you just like that even after 20 years of service.

Think very hard before you work here
Applied for a job here through a temp agency. Was warned by friends that since I was English I'd struggle, but I was convinced it would be better than being on Universal Credit - now I'm not so sure. The promised locker for my belongings never materialised, and I live in fear of having my stuff stolen. Kinnerton have put a one way system in place to try and combat a spread of COVID, but I have lost count of the number of employees I have seen going in and out of whatever door they please. No masks provided, some components of the products handled with bare hands (I put gloves on but was told to take them off), no air conditioning - there have been several occasions where I have nearly passed out due to the heat. The promised "training" involves being shouted at by people who seem to think I get things wrong on purpose - the recruitment agency's ad specified that a good command of English was necessary, but I haven't seen any evidence of this requirement having been met. I am only still there because I need the money and would get sanctioned by the DWP if I quit, I go home in tears after almost every shift and am just praying that something else comes up soon. If you value your emotional wellbeing, please don't work here.
