before Xmas day was very busy day. i learned how customer services delivered on busy days and co workers also help each other. we also managed good stock as well.

A good introduction to employment

Kmart served as a good introudction to the workforce when I was a teenager. I think retail should be every individual's first job because interacting and working alongside people provides the character building environment and societal life skills necessary in most fields of employment.

Corporate disaster , went downhill after CEO Antonini ...

Good ,steady work, early on .... then they got more payroll minded and started watching expenses and some hours were cut . If you put in a good effort you could move up at store level , work into management as an assistant local. Store managers were required to have atleast a two year degree. Most positions were parttime on the sales floor , but we had enough help most of the time.
