Family Support Worker in River Alt

Good opportunities
I have worked on 4 teams in the 12 years of working at KMBC. Generally the people are very down to earth and friendly. In 2009 when I started, the training opportunities were fantastic but through cuts etc it isn’t what it used to be. Things have changed a lot in the way we work now. My role has been predominantly in social care and I work with people that have been there 30+ years so they have seen a lot of changes. There is security working in the council and opportunities to move around other teams and widen your experience.

Staff
Friendly staff and supervisers, I had a laugh while working, very relaxed company to work for.
As the staff are around the same age there is no atmosphere.
