Nice place to work, a shame they don’t pay much (minimum wage). Get lots of free donuts and drinks and lovely management. I enjoyed it there, just needed higher pay

It is okay

Easy job but poor management. You get free doughnuts though which is always nice. It becomes repetitive but for the salary it is decent enough I would say

Ok job if it's temporary

In my time working for Krispy Kreme I tried for years to move up and eventually got the role of shift leader but only by doing insane amounts of overtime, extra shifts and playing the role of shift leader for nearly 2 years on the same pay as a team member. There was constant staffing issues because no one wanted to be there as it was such a toxic environment, management made you feel so guilty if you said no to being asked to do an extra shift. Management constantly belittling you and never back you up even if a customer is kicking off.Only perks were you occasionally get free coffee and doughnuts and some of the people working there were lovely.

Avoid at all costs

The most toxic workplace that I have ever experienced. Massive turnover of staff isn’t surprising, the staff that have been there for years are not welcoming at all - there is a lot of bullying in the workplace that is overlooked. There is a big divide between the retail department and the factory which is absolutely ridiculous. Management is very corrupt and there is no duty of care to the employees well being. The staff are very lazy and spend most of there time talking about other staff and being unpleasant about one another. It is very cliquey which again is not nice. Managers and shift leaders will swear and scream at staff and think that is an acceptable way to conduct themselves - it’s shameful really, no matter how many complaints get put in, nobody cares enough to change it. It’s very long hours and the pay isn’t worth it given the environment you have to put up with.

Horrible and unpaid labour

Extremely terrible place to work, unsafe, unfair pay, stupid employees.NO BENEFITS, eg bank holidays and festive periods and over time has no extra pay. Shifts can be cancelled out of no where due to the small hour contracts they do even if you are part time you will be on a 5 hour contact. Long Hours , busy and not worth all the bosh aches.

Worst company I have ever worked for

Poor management who have no care for their staff. Hygiene is poor, dirty environment for a food production factory. Managers allow staff to not follow correct food hygiene practice and not wear beard nets which results in hair being on the doughnuts. I have seen instances of contaminated ingredients being used. Low morale in team due to lazy workers who don't do their job meaning extra work for the other team members. Managers tolerate bullying and have no control of their teams. Awful place with with high turnover of staff and new starters don't stay long due to poor treatment. Avoid if you want to keep your sanity.

Great teams head office have no idea of daily life

On site it's great with the team and management being really flexible, but head office have pretty unrealistic expectations and standards for the amount they are willing to pay for both wages and in equipment.

Good Colleagues, Bad Management.

Was good for a first job and building confidence in customer service however when COVID hit it quickly went downhill. We were treated like a lab rats and had barely any support from higher management. The job caused me to be so stressed and overworked it kickstarted my life-long health condition. Made some great friends though, guess that and free doughnuts is a bonus.

Productive and fun workplace

You get to meet others on a daily basis. Fun environment to work in. good fixed pay rate. Enjoyable to be at within others. Overall, a very nice place to go in.

Ok job

Is what it's at the end of the day. Sell doughnuts and makes some cold and hot drinks, up sell all the time is a most and apart from that you can say there's no much to do.

Decent job bad managers

Managers aren’t nice. Was shouted at from the first day. Wont let you talk even if you’re doing work but managers can talk. They put too much pressure and expect you to always work late, they do the easier jobs and let their team do the hardest. Would not recommend unless there are nicer managers.

Fun place to work

People are nice and supportive. It can be stressful at times when its busy but it genuinely a great workplace with lovely people. There are many opportunites to progress if you want to.

Was a fun workplace however had fell ill and given plnet of notice and felt as tho i was being belittled for poor health however all in all a helpful team

Avoid a Bad Taste

The store I've worked in for a year now, has drastically gone down hill.Two managers and two shift leaders have left in quick succession and they have ductaped the new shift leader over the two roles.Always given different instructions by different people with no definitive direction from management.Customers treat you like a coffee shop.

Great people to work with overall but little to no support if you struggle. Everyone tells you how to do the job differently so there is no consistency which causes problems.

Working at Krispy Kremes is a laugh

I really did enjoy working for this coming and the people I worked with the benefits were good got a 50% discount, I worked in a pop up store in a centre so there was always someone to talk to if it was a bit slower some days with sales, I loved the Barista side of the job and it really did push my love for coffee making, I did dislike the area the store was placed right near the automatic doors so in the winter I did find it a struggle.

Easy job, but not enough time

In general, the job isn't that difficult. You turn up, sell doughnuts, make drinks, clean the store, cash up, etc. However, there's a lack of organisation and consistency from the top of the company down - one manager will tell you one thing, another will tell you something different. Also, there was never enough time to get everything done at open and closing down, so that you'd either stay past your shift time on a daily basis, or have to leave things half done in order to leave on time.If you want a casual, part time job whilst you're studying, go for it. If you're only there once or twice a week, it's not so bad.Discount is fairly decent, pay is minimum wage for sales assistants, but for shift leaders the pay does not reflect all of the responsibilities expected of you.

It was an OK company to work for.

If you enjoy really eary starts, physical work and driving in traffic then this job will be just right for you. Daily functions are very repetitive.

Do not work here. Unless you want no life lol. All unsociable hours & no benefits to show for it. Minimum wage for maximum work efforts. Shocking really.
