Great place to work
Worked there for more than half a year, it was creative, challenging and fun. Very dynamic young company filled with enthusiastic gaming people. It's a very empowering place, with weekly brainstorming meetings and extra creative days so you can work on personal projects. I worked with similarly skilled colleagues creating creative game ads. The the new office, they moved to in 2019 is very amazing.

Really fun place to work with some fantastic people
Kwalee is a great place to work, it has the best flexitime I've ever had allowing me to full fill home commitments and not worry about breaking my contracted hours. The pay is the industry standard with a generous benefits package in place, something a lot of studios don't offer these days. Everyone is really friendly, I've made some lifelong friends here. Sometimes the company can rapidly change direction which can be a little frustrating trying to get new ideas out the door as quickly as possible but with a passionate team we all pull together to make it happen. The quarterly events are great fun, it always seems like we just did one when the next one comes around and being chosen by the employees they are usually pretty decent!

Kwalee has accumulated some great talent over the years and the company culture has benefitted with a great skill base and approachable group of characters. As a self-publishing company Kwalee best suits those who can apply a flexible approach to problems and development and keep an open mind to different and new approaches. As well as its regular projects, Kwalee also provides opportunities to all staff to design and develop and be involved in special projects. For those who have a lot of passion and ideas to bring to the development environment I recommend Kwalee as great company to learn skills and raise their game and meet some great like minded colleagues.

A fun and freeing challenge: you get out what you put in
The requirement to shift direction and constantly question our creative decisions at Kwalee is a tough but ultimately fulfilling challenge. This process, although difficult to manage at times, helps to foster creativity and innovation within the company. Developers are given a lot of freedom to question decisions and work together to produce the best quality products we can. This, along with regular innovation days that allow people to design and build their own games every week make Kwalee an exciting place to work. The company runs on communication - requiring every member of every department to regularly catch-up to keep the engine running. There are daily problems to solve but we now have a staff full of motivated problem solvers. The best part of the job is seeing a motivated staff pushing to do the best work they can across multiple projects that they all have creative input in.
