Loved the team I worked with
Kiehls KCR (Former Employee) - London - 20 September 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedShame they closed the smaller bouquets in London. Loyal customers that just love the brand and become friends. Worked with a small team, Store manager was fantastic. Just trusted us to do the job which made it enjoyable and we achieved targets and KPI'S. The store manager can made or brake a team so depends who you get. Perks were great had so much face/body cream's Training was good however in group's of people you will always have the gossips/back stabbing etc. Rise above it and enjoy working with your team.
Pros
Brilliant team, Perks, Customers
Cons
High Targets and be deflating

A company that rewards hard working and successful people
N/A (Current Employee) - Hammersmith, Greater London - 14 July 2018
This is a fast paced environment due to the nature of the industry and also the company itself. This means it’s not for everyone. If you can work to tight timescales, last minute changes, ‘I need this yesterday’ then you’ll be successful and rewarded for it.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
Centralised services meaning lack of common sense on decisions that impact customer

Great place to start your career. Very enjoyable benefits as an employee. Quite a competitive internal culture. A typical day at work varies and it is very fast paced. Alot of the time you can find yourself working beyond the hours you should be.
Amazing opportunities and schemes to help someone grow within the company.

Not good
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - London - 13 June 2018
Pushed you too much to traffic stop people. Made you do makeovers when not trained and horrible bosses. They made you feel like you weren't good enough and they use to talk about you to other people

Stay away
Beauty Advisor (Former Employee) - Norwich, Norfolk - 20 May 2018
I was hired as a beauty advisor to work on this counter. I was probably one out of about 5 people in the entire beauty department who was even a qualified makeup artist. The counter is always extremely quiet, and as a young millennial, I worked my butt off to draw customers over to the counter, running my own events, but got no recognition for it. My probation period ended, and resulted in me staying permanently. I was given a target to meet with the counter in terms of money, they wanted to push me a little harder. This was just a casual conversation. I then unfortunately fell really ill and could not work for a number of weeks, when i returned to work. I was told that because I did not take as much money on the counter as they wanted, they had to terminate my contract. They also said "that before I fell ill, they had extended my probation period and if I did not meet the desired targets that they would have to terminate my contract" Now, A. this conversation never took place, nor did they ask me to sign anything agreeing to the extended probation time, so I had no idea what they were talking about because they had never said this to me. B. Whilst I was off ill, of course I couldn't of pushed the counter to it's highest potential, and meet the targets they wanted. So in the end they terminated my contract. I was treated like dirt on the bottom of someone's shoe. Stay away people.
Pros
shifts were short with the opening and closing times, therefore i could get out there asap
Cons
Everything

Great Environment to work
Beauty Consultant, Make-up Artist (Current Employee) - Stansted Airport - 9 April 2018
Typical day at work very busy always engaged in customer service. I learned new customer service skills, doing professional make-up and some managerial skills. Management was good. The hardest part of the job was getting up at 2.30 am to get to work. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with people both customers and colleagues.
Pros
Amazing Trainings
Cons
Early starts (4am)

evil place
Data Analyst (Former Employee) - London - 17 March 2018
Evil place with fake women who sleep with managers for promotions and wear too much make up. Also lot of people stab others in the back to further their own careers.
Innovation and genuine hard work is not recognised - only sleeping with your boss is.
Pros
none
Cons
immoral activities, unethical

Fantastic company with great incentives
Deputy Manager (Former Employee) - Swansea - 24 January 2018
I would really recommend this company to people as not only do they offer you a fantastic work package, they also give you the opportunity to explore and progress within the company.
They offer support and guidance and the staff are well trained and happy to help with any problems.
You get to meet a variety of people on a daily basis and help people find the confidence to explore within themselves.
There are daily targets to be hit so I would say on quiet days within the store it was quite tricky however we found tactics to help us reach our goals by offering free makeovers which usually got people to buy some products.
Pros
Good bonus structure
Cons
Extremely busy for makeovers
