What is a typical day like for you at the company?

A typical day at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals can vary greatly depending on the job role and which department/area you work in.

As we have a mix of clinical and clerical staff, and estate and facilities staff, the demands and challenges can be quite different. Some days you might feel that there is a heavy workload, with tough decision making required, or feel like it's a pressured environment. Other times may be quieter, reflecting service demand as it can undulate, or your tasks might have longer deadlines with a structured workflow.

We have busy and quiet periods like any business or company, however it will come down to where you choose to work. The important thing is that you know where to turn to, and are/feel supported when it gets tough.
