I was working through an agency for a few months doing a night trunk run. The depot staff were always happy help on both sides. Not very often did I have delays and the vehicles were tidy and smart. All round good place to work but I wouldn't go full time because the pay is a little bit to low with them directly.

place where people losing will to live

In general place where people losing will to live. Used to be good, around 7 years ago. Since new management they cut all bonuses, gave people rubbish contracts. Colleagues - the most unfriendly place for new starters.

Reliable work, little reward

Sometimes can be good but also thankless. No benefits for staff. Old school management but you can also have good rapport but often unfair. Can be quite cliquey and lots of favouritism.

Good company to work for. Wages aren’t too bad. Mostly good. 9.8hrs guaranteed. Store deliveries, but mostly sitting around on RDCs. Helpful company and mostly treated fair

Good company to work for. Overall management is very listening. Only downside is working every other Saturday which makes your tired for the next week. Inclusive company with many nationalities. Management is spot on and listen to every employee

A good place to start but don't stay to long cause you will see that some are working like slaves when others take smoking brakes whenever and no one will tell them anything

Shocking

Shocking company to work for, transport staff are rude, have to work 70 hours a week for little money. Don’t get your own lorry. The only positive is the training department are good!

No more overtime,no promotion opportunities ,I work for 5 years and nothing,it’s a toxic place with a lot of toxic people,for management you’re not a person you’re a number,a lot of people started to have health problems because of the environment and work like stress,back problems,hand problems because of the scanners used.don’t recommend

Worst workplace ever

I worked here 5 years and you have no opportunities to grow,no more overtime,for the managers you’re just a number,it’s a toxic place full of toxic people!!!don’t recommend at all to much stress,if you’re getting sick and you’re missing you’re not payed and they make you disciplinary even if it’s because of the work

Good place to work and feel valued

Really good company to work for. Only issue is having to work 6 days then 5 days the following week without choice which with a family is a bit too much only having 3 days off every two weeks. The job itself though is great. The trucks are really nice and well maintained. They give your you manifest then leave you be to get it done and only contact you if genuinely needed. All in all a very good place to work in my opinion.

Can be stressful

If your face fits, its a great place to work. Poor pay for the amount you have to do. Managers family promoted before anyone else. Some office staff rule the roost. Manager at Andover needs to sort out the office. Lots of back stabbing and people need to their own jobs before commenting on everyone else. Very poor place to work and pay needs to improve.

Management isn’t the best, some people are treated differently to others, it should be employee equality but it definitely isn’t. It’s an ok place to work- relatively fair money although someone else doing the same job as you can be paid less or even more than yourself…

Will always be grateful

I really like it here! Employed direct as a weekend HGV1 driver and enjoy every minute (unless it’s raining). Varied work. Majority of trucks are looked after and only the odd trailer defect to sort now and then. On the whole, a friendly bunch - always a flash and wave on the road BUT I do have trouble getting to speak to management. Typical 9 to 12 hour shift. Yard can be tight and poorly lit but that makes for a good challenge. Choose your contract wisely as overtime is not allowed (madness) meaning I have to source work elsewhere if I want it, which is a shame. Full time is 6day 5day, so full on and I’m not sure I could cope. Regular training and comprehensive induction. Just wish I could do more!

Clean, modern fleet with SatNavs. Friendly and helpful bunch of drivers/loaders/shunters.

Cons

No overtime. No return messages from management.

Do not any 4 to 5 stars because that's I am telling you are from the management who disguise themselves into a former or a current employee etc, and leave even 5 stars. Do not trust them/these stars given obviously by the management so they can workers and get the work load off them so they don't keep on messing it up again and again which surely affects the company, senior management are la,y don't care that's why it's pathetic (so called),management. People leave because of the rubbish management system or shall I say they don't have any proper management system or even just proper enough and still just as dumb they were will not even try to understand as for why actually people just leave and there's this serious employee joining and leaving turnover. There are other jobs going on it's sure a busy get on it and apply trust me apply other places/companies.
