Bullying is rife. Dont dare raise any concerns, as that then makes you a target. They are not interested in listening to staff, and its more about targets and promotion of the company, than it is about the people we are supposed to support. As well as your own role - and boy, you work for your pay anyway - expect to be bullied and coerced by managers into doing a lot more, and there being no overtime or any other policy in place to compensate you for additional hours. Don't expect honesty. Don't expect career progression. Don't expect acknowledgement for going the extra mile. Don't expect support. Be prepared for decisions and changes to be made without consultation or consideration. Be prepared to be verbally abused, and for a culture where intimidation, bullying and lying are considered to be appropriate managerial reactions to any issues.
