Yes, always looking for inspiring and creative staff

I do not find the working here stressful. We work with people during emotionally difficult times in their lives, this can be challenging to manage personally, which is where team support, supervision and wellbeing services are vital to enable us to manage any stress in a healthy and helpful way.

Nobody would want to work for them if they were sane

The culture is dire! The more incompetent you are the better you progress in this trust. The good staff are kept down in their banding as it’s then they really need! The management is absolutely appalling!!

The Trust has been awesome in its response to covid19. Everyone has pulled together to keep each other and our patients safe and well. Everyone who wanted to be, was vaccinated early on and the rates of infection in staff and patients has been low compared to other places.things have been well organised, with good communication throughout; a real team effort.

Relaxed and not very formal.

The same as anywhere else in the NHS. You get more Annual leave if you have 5 years continuous service and then 10 years continuous NHS service.

LPFT continually works hard to create a supportive and positive culture across the whole organisation. Culture is created by its people's values and behaviours, and rightly so, all staff are expected to work within the trusts values and behaviours each and every day. Working in mental health can be extremely difficult, but at the same time, one of the most rewarding environments in which to work.
