Home Office in Remote

Unrealistic expectations at the top level
Senior management has unrealistic expectations and does not listen to how unrealistic some of their expected goals are. They might tell you about lofty ideals and all, but the the only metric that matters is money.Your colleagues will be the best part of the job.
Client Care Advisor in Cathcart and Winn Farnham

I had the worst time working for the practice in Farnham. You are promised so much at the interview which then gets forgotten about once you start. The environment is stressful and there is a massive team division between reception and vets and nurses. Reception are treated like they are idiots and not trusted to do anything to support the clinical team. The pay is awful for the amount of stress you have to deal with and it seems other practices are willing to pay more. I became pregnant whilst working here and then after informing management I was pushed out of the company. I was accused of things I did not do and they were very unhelpful and unsupportive when I was struggling. I was outnumbered in a meeting with my manger and head office which caused me to have a panic attack and ended up in hospital with high blood pressure. I would never recommend anyone working here.

608 treat many unfairly
Linnaeus works well as a company, however 608 vet practice, owned by Linnaeus is extremely poorly run. They are constantly losing nurses due to unfair treatment. If you aren’t a in management or a mangers best friend you will be targeted, especially as soon as handing in your notice. From very early on I was made to feel miserable. Working as a nurse there was the worst experience.

The best corporate
My new team are genuinely happy. They care for each other and the business like it was family run. There is an abundance of support and training available within Linnaeus. I can't recommend the company enough. The benefits and job security is second to none! You are not encouraged to work to the bone like most places. They listen and help you grow and develop as an individual and I am proud to be apart of Linnaeus
Animal Care Assistant in West Buckland, Somerset
on 27 January 2022
You are just a number at this company and are easily replaceable. You don’t get paid enough for what you’re expected to do on a daily basis.Bullying is tolerated and mangers will turn a blind eye to any complaints made. You receive no benefits working here, you don’t get extra pay for working nights, weekends or bank holidays. Lack of respect from all departments, from the wards to the admin team and from management.
