This leaves us very excited about the future! History & Culture Founded in 1979, the business stands as one of the largest privately and family-owned motor retailer groups in the UK. Since the very beginning, Listers core values have not changed. From the day that Terry Lister and Keith Bradshaw opened their first Audi and Volkswagen business in Coventry, their focus – on the customer and their needs – has never changed. Listers ethos of success has been built around consistency in every aspect of the business, in employment, training and in customer satisfaction. Listers are extremely proud of the longstanding relationships with Audi, BMW, CUPRA, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, SEAT, ŠKODA, smart, Toyota, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Volvo, that trust us to represent them. Listers grew steadily throughout the eighties and during the nineties the company surged forward with the completion of new stand-alone centres for Audi Coventry, Audi Worcester and Volkswagen Worcester, which still stands on the Bromyard Road. This period also saw the purchase of two new Mercedes-Benz centres in Lincolnshire, whilst two of the other Volkswagen retailers relocated to newly built concept sites. Group activities progressed during the noughties, when two outgoing Volvo franchises were replaced with three new Honda sites. The turn of the year saw the first Listers Toyota market area with three sites opening in Lincolnshire, then later the same year saw Listers opening its fourth and fifth Volkswagen centres in Evesham and Nuneaton, and its third and fourth Mercedes-Benz sites. The company surged forward again with the completion of four more Toyota centres, two Lexus centres, two Audi centres and one Honda centre, plus two BMW and two MINI centres, along with the accreditation received for Volkswagen Stratford Van Service Centre. In the twenty-tens, the momentum continued with the purchase of Volkswagen Leamington Spa, Volkswagen Banbury/ŠKODA Service Centre and SEAT Droitwich, Land Rover Droitwich, Hereford and Solihull, two Jaguar centres in Droitwich and Solihull. Plus, Volvo, Isuzu & SEAT Cupra in Worcester. In addition, the group opened Listers U centres in Coventry, Boston, Solihull, Stratford and Northampton. Moving into twenty twenties the group welcomed its first Porsche centre in Hull. Listers Group today, represents 18 brands across the Midlands, Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire, Norfolk and Yorkshire. There are over 50 dealerships plus Paint and Bodyshops, PDI Centres and a Head Office. Our success is a product of the fantastic people that work for us, and this is recognised by representing some of the world’s most prestigious car brands in state-of-the-art Dealerships. Learning & Development

Whatever your goal, we encourage employees to learn new skills and we grow management from within. Our Training Academy is based in Solihull and is dedicated to developing people to reach their full potential. We often support professional qualifications which will involve you attending local colleges and universities to help you progress and succeed in your chosen field. Our internal training include, but is not limited to: - Sales Executive Accreditation (DNA) - Service Advisor Programme - Complaint Handling - Management Development - Administration / Systems - Finance & Insurance - Listers e-Academy The e-Academy represents a major leap forward in our ability to support your ongoing personal development.
