No problems for me I earn around £600 a week for 5 days work after my van rental I am vat registered that means lewtas pay me vat on my invoice I’m on flat rate scheme so 10% goes to tax man and I keep 10% myself it’s a good £60 a week more I get top bonus pretty much every week, if you aren’t vat registered you don’t really get enough mileage money to cover all your fuel, but more than enough if you have a vat number and it’s easy to get one and dead easy to file tax returns on flat rate so do that from day 1. It’s easy you get offered work each Week 5 days usually, usually ask for one Saturday or one Sunday as part of those 5 days, you accept them turn up collect parcels already sorted hit go on your mobile app and fo deliver parcels it’s really simple

Stressful and underpaid

Pay sounds nice on the ad but in reality they shaft you with fuel cards, van rental, insurance unless you have your own van and don't mind working flat out 10 hours a day for what I'd say isn't enough money don't bother apply as a flex driver for similar money and an easier job

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, I'm sorry your experience with us has left you feeling this way!On the initial telephone call where we explain the role to you & on your application form its raised a number of times that the van rental package including Fuel Cards and Insurances comes to £32.98 per day: There's two whole A4 pages dedicated to Vehicle Rental and Insurance on your SLA that you have to sign & verify.Did you manage to read the adverts and agreements before you signed them? I am pleased that things work exactly as they were explained they would when they called me after I applied. They told me the rates, how the routes work, how the payment process is structured and when it's okay for me to take the van home once I'm done and when it's not. None of the false promises that I was told will happen but then they never do like with other companies. Everything was clear and honest from the beginning so I'd know where I'm standing.

i have worked for lewtas now coming on over 3 years and i enjoy going to work every single day not a day that goes buy where i dont get up with smile on my face ..people our stating payment issues fuel issues on hear i have never had a payment missed and i also have a fuel card and it is a lot cheaper to use and to get taken out your invoice on the second week i have never had an issue with this either..i have worked as a driver for the past 10 years on amd off n and i can honestly say this is the only firm pays u for every on tym every weeki will continue to work hear for the foreseeable...

Day to day waiting around to see if you have work. Unpaid a lot when considering time on the road. Lots of unpaid time and cost to your self such as retrying deliveries and returning parcels. Mileage payments don’t match current prices so always losing out

Morning, Whilst we understand the frustration of waiting 15-20 minutes of a morning for your depot wave time, unfortunately, this is something we have little control over and try our best to make it as short as possible.You're correct, mileage payments won't reflect the prices we are currently seeing on the forecourt, but neither are the charges. We reimburse & charge at the same rate which was negotiated with our fuel card supplier; The charge & payment for fuel will always match if you just use the vehicle for work and don't accrue any personal mileage.All time on the road whilst delivering is paid, the role is paid at a daily rate, which covers the whole day.Sorry you felt the need to leave this review, we wish you the best of luck for the future!

Joined LLG last year as a HGV driver. probably one of the best company's I've worked for over the last 15 years.Brand new trucks, good team & no unloading trailers. Just trunking between stations. 4 on 4 off, paid for a minimum of 11 hours every shift even if you only work 5 or 6.

Hi,Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm a little confused with the content, however.You state pay is not advertised because you must pay for van and fuel, which is clearly stated on all adverts and on phone interviews. Did you manage to read these before applying? Some of our experienced & top drivers earn more than what is advertised, the figures are worked on an average across the contract.Regarding training, each driver has two full classroom training days, a test that you must pass & two full days ride along with an experienced driver. Which I'm sure most will agree, is more than sufficient. I'm sorry your experience with us have left you feeling this way, we wish you the best of luck for the future!

Fast Paced but easy work if you get stuck in

I think that this is a good place to work if you are a hard worker an willing to get stuck in to the job, Seen a lot of people bad mouthing the partner who they work with but the routes are achievable if you get stuck in. Quicker you work quicker you get done that's the way i seen it,Good management a site level who goes the extra mile to help out the drivers.The money is good an the hours suite me so i am happy here.
