Lloyds Banking Group Employee Review

Wouldn’t work there for longer than 6 months

Training is good especially if it’s your first IT job. Gives you a good insight and experience working in a very busy help-desk. Around 150 members on the the service desk 80% of which are temps/agency staff. Very high staff turn over as you don’t get any benefits of being a permanent Lloyd’s bank employee. The worst part is every minute of your shift is recorded. Start/finish time, time on call, time on lunch (which is only 30 minutes) is recorded to the minute. It’s regularly monitored, more like a busy sales call centre if anything. Would only recommend it as a stepping stone to other jobs, don’t waste your time here. There are opportunities but as they’re 100+ people on the team any opportunity is pounced on. Get your experience and move on, for the sake of your mental health and well-being.

n/a

There is a lot to learn but, no job security. Good team to get support when you need it. The car park is a disadvantage, you have to pay for it, which is costly.

Stressful, Poor Management

I found that Managers are not very helpful when trying to approach for assistance, You are not praised for a job that you have done well. Also the training within your job role was not very helpful from the trainer.
