The job was overall fun and enjoyable every new day is a challenge but unfortunately when a new manager took over work became very stressful and not wanting to be at my present site.

I work there as security (Marble Arch and Edgware Rd. area). I must say that it is very unprofessional and it’s like being in camp. Constant outside and they don’t care about the staff just them selves. I am ‘Always Believe’ and I will always keep on believing, but never achieving. The uniform is a tad joke ting.

Long hours .change your hours when they want to suit them if you complain they move you to a different place don't care about employees safety only care about the contract would advise anyone to stay away

Work is easy , the team you work with are questionable at best . When it comes to management they don't last . Three new managers in a year . That says it all if managers don't stay with the company

Unfair, stressful, favourtism and false promises

Security guard and Store Detective (Former Employee) - Crawley, Brighton, Bluewater, Sutton, Redhill, Bromley and Collierswood - 4 May 2022

I was employed by lodge doing security guard duties in clothing retail stores and store detectived work. I have to say this is the worse security company I have ever worked for in my security and policing career. I would avoid all roles in London and South East England areas. The management in that area treat you poorly, give you false promises and lie to you. The managers can’t even put together a rota properly always do it last minute and expect you travel far distances for work. They say they will pay back your expenses however theres always “ difficulties“ in payment. It took me 5 months to claim back expenses and it was only a small amount of money. The fuel payment per mile is 13p.

You get no support from this company if you have a PCR test but getting Covid they still ask for a doctors note when you leave if you don’t return your uniform 3 thin shirts and a thin fleece they take a large amount out your wages you soon and I don’t pay you holiday pay you’re owed stay well away if you got any sense

Iv work for them for 2 and half year, the job it self was not bad it's just they don't pay good compered for other companies in their website they claim to be one of the "best sacurity company". I don't hate it I just wish they did better

Boss was not pleasant. Never helpful if any health issues. Bad at giving out shifts. But other colleagues were always willing to help and or assist. Overall very friendly atmosphere with a relatively easy job

Not exactly the worst, but it is among the worst

I know for a fact that the company will know who this review is from, but not like I care anyway.In all of my time in working, I've never dealt with some incompetent and pathetic management who don't know how to care for their staff and support them in any way. I worked at H&M in Central London and after a month and half working there, doing everything that was required of me... I got removed and was unfairly treated by the management.Got placed in a much, much smaller store, which averaged at least 10 customers a day. Not an hour, a day. Which made my time there even worse, because the manager there seemed to have a weird and unnecessary issue with me and wouldn't speak to me about it and be civil, but it is what it is.If you're gonna be looking after your company and your staff, increase the pay and ensure your area managers are completely trained and aware of issues your staff may be having.Only enjoyable part of the job was speaking to some of the retail staff, they were lovely and I'm glad I got to meet them. However, as they say, all good things must come to an end eventually.

Primark Warrington really enjoyed working there

Lodge are a good to work for brilliant area manager,, good team to work with I was aloud to run the security team and wasn't micro managed, u new what u was working well in advance and if someone called in they u was always asked and not just change ur shifts with out asking, if u work hard and ur job u can work ur way up, a highly recommended company

I found the interview to be relaxed,and the workplace to be professional.never had any problems with my pay,and clear understanding of where allocated for work,although some times it was hard to sign in as the system would not always work.

They need management training .When they promised, they don't keep it. The level of intimidation at work place by the manager are very high. They always denied any verbal intimidation in work sites.

great manager and guards where really good at Worcester primark on average catching 2 shoplifters a day. primark management wanted us to turn a blind eye due to police activity at store because of shoplifting. but we increased that number to 3-4 a day. Ha have that.
