Very productive and conducive environment

Very engaging and we work as a team. There is a line manager to always assist you. If you have any queries with pay there is a platform were you be assisted and all your pay queries will be sorted. The company pay is good helps one to pay his utilities bills and still have something thing to save. I really enjoyed working there.

Pros

I worked nights so I bring my food

Cons

Hours thats fit your schedule

it's good

the first time i worked with mach recruitment at clipper pretty little things my holiday wasn't paid, the second time i worked with them i wasn't paid for all my holiday hours the taxes for the week are around £100 ; if you want to talk to an agent is difficult to find; on the other hand, if they want to talk to you, they find you quickly; but it was good that I worked on a position: only Piking, not piking&paking. for this 10 stars

Pros

small attentions from time to time

Cons

eligible what you want (12h/10h/8h) and half the norm

Not good

I got let go, and they haven’t given me my holiday pay or anything, it’s been over a monthThey constantly make mistakes on your pay Or your holidays And they don’t give you any notice before letting you go.. for example we was supposed to have time off over Christmas so they told us a week in advance. Then sent us a text saying this it was our last shift and when you try to contact them via message or phone call, they ignore it

Pros

None

Cons

Agency constantly make mistakes when it comes to holidays or just not paying you right

Shocking

Hire you then let you go for no reason whatsoever there is nothing really positive to say, you get given false promises and then dropped like a tonne of bricks for doing nothing wrong

Cons

Everything

Understaffed and overworked

No enough people on the organization, everyone is overworked, lots of new staff hired just to be let go after 2-3 months. Expected to be available 7 days a week, impossible to book holidays

Pros

Can't think of any

Cons

7 days a week work, bonus unpaid

fun working place and friendly environment

it is very helpfull to work with less stressful environment and flexible shifts as a part time working student but sometimes there are no reqirement for more workers so eventually my shifts got cancelled and that is a problem to get consistent number od shifts.

Dehumanising and very unorganised workplace.

This job had a very unfriendly atmosphere and an overall feel of oppression. Me and other colleagues were 'let go' on false pretences on multiple occasions, all after a similar time period of working with the company. It seems to me and others that this company relies on a fast turn over of young workers inorder to keep the costs down. This is also evident by the lack of training. This company seems to thrive from chaos and misunderstanding, giving them an excuse to sack you just before you've been there long enough to earn workers rights and pension. During my time with Mach recruitment, me and several others were exposed to white and black mould with no PPE (personal protective equipment). During this task we were told to scrub mould from products and put them back in the box to "dry off" ready to sell. Overall the management is terrible, the environment is unwelcoming and it is a terrible place to work. As it is with most companies, there are some lovely staff and workers but unfortunately this does not out-weigh the attitudes of management.

Pros

Bonus at the end of the week if all shifts are completed.

Cons

Attitude, management, safety, training, deceit.

Toxic environment

Worst mistake of my life, poor management with no empathy or respect towards permanent employees and temporary workers. Wage queries every week, company will do everything not to pay you for annual leave or the hours you’ve worked. If you are positive individual, well organised and with strong work ethic, avoid at all cost. No Help when it’s coming to aggressive temporary workers, threatening you or your family in this place is a norm, so don’t be surprised. Chances that they are going to dismiss you with a day notice is 💯. Seeing a manager being sacked with 2 day notice after 2 years of loyal dedication. This company will drain you, although if you into that kind of environment then go for it 👌🏻 Worst experience of my life.

Pros

None

Cons

24hours/7, toxic place, aggressive staff

Decent pay

Some managers are quite supportive however not the best working environment. People are stuck in their ways, not much training is provided kind of the blind leading the blind.

Don't bother applying at mach at PLT

Don't bother they will mess you about, they make you travel to work and then send you home due to no work, and there's no prospect in getting a full time contract since you have to go through the boohoo site not mach recruitment so they lied about permanent opportunities on the job advert and plus the leader looks at you like a price of fecal matter

Pros

Pay when you do the hours!

Cons

No organisation

was okey

was nice place to work,The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing it would end eventually. The hardest part was dealing with the broken systems until the shift was over. Entering autopilot mentally is essential to maintain your sanity.

Good money with overtime

You Have to check every single payslip you receive and check your hours if they fully paid you. you don’t receive your holidays whenever you want most of the time they will say it’s fully booked. The good part is that you are paid well and their overtime is available most of the time

Honest pay for honest work.

Decent pay for a hard day of work. Full training provided in picking/packing. Management was supportive but as an agency, not always in control - little power to improve workplace conditions and systems. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing it would end eventually. The hardest part was dealing with the broken systems until the shift was over. Entering autopilot mentally is essential to maintain your sanity.

Pros

On-site canteen. Pension scheme. Required gear/tools provided.

Cons

Depressing. Exhausting at times. Loud.

Avoid

I had no problem with the place I worked at. The job was good, the pay was fair and the other workers were friendly.Avoid Mach. Their management is rude and they do not care about your wellbeing, you are just a number to them. Your better off finding a better agency.

Good agency to work with

I can recommend that agency, all workers are very helpful and they’re doing their best to resolve every problem. Uniform has to be black, comfy trainers because you have to walk for a long time. They have people from different countries so it’s a good opportunity for everyone without English because there was always someone to translate.
