A typical day at work: The hours are 12-8 rain or shine i would knock doors and gather donations threw a lottery system that is represented threw major and minor charities around the uk. I would ask members of the public at there doors on a unexpected visit to support the charity i was representing threw a ÂŁ1 a week lottery. The donation if they agreed to support was a regular donation taken monthly threw there bank. My target is 37 deals a week so a minimum of 7.4 sales a day would be accumulated. What I learnt: Mainly I learnt how to sell but also with over two years experience i have also become very good at rejection handling. Management: Was supportive at times My co-workers: i was part of a team of 7 and we all worked well together and helped and supported each other from day to day. the hardest part of the job: Is the English weather. The most enjoyable part of the job: The pay rates are uncapped so the potential is unlimited
Pros
The potential of rates of pay
Cons
The English weather.

Worked for Magnum for several months and throughout my time with them they did nothing but move the goal posts from one week to the next. I was responsible for achieving the same targets as the team members who were realatively new to sales and there was no time allowing for in the field training for them that needed it.Over all the only decent experience I had was the Director him self who was an amazing person and the Area Manager at the time I ws there.I would never return to them despite tem asking several times and certainly wuldnt recommend a placement with them while they maintain their current structure.
Cons
long hours ( weekends, 12 hour days )
