  • Couldnt tell you because of the discrimination. Applied online which says video interviews I wrote to them explaining my stutter makes video interviews difficult, got a automated reply which didnt relate to my question.

  • Having done the online application form first, if successful they would ring you up to come into store for a interview and a test to check ur customer service skills by doing a role play.

  • Very easy going and supportive staff.

  • Good , Easy Going Freindly , One to One

  • You have to do an online test first before you even get offered an interview, in the actual interview they give you a product and some additional information, you then have 10 minutes to write down all the key aspects of this item and then you have to do a role play exercise. You have to mention offers on at the moment which apply to the item and key information that’s basically it! Then you go for a question interview, basic interview questions, make sure you mention use of social media as they want to bring M&S into ‘the 21st century’ it’s pretty relaxed just be polite and make sure you mention social media!!

  • After passing a ridiculous online test you get invited in for an interview with someone from recruitment as well as a manager. First part of the interview is just standard questions
    - why do you want to work for m&s?

    - do you know anything about the history of m&s?

    - tell me about a time you gave good customer service

    - tell me about a time you had a difficult customer, how did you over come it?

    - tell me about a time where you had a challenging situation on you hands?

    - how would you approach a customer?

    - when it gets quiet in store, what would you do to keep busy?

After all of the questions I had to do a role play where I was working in the food hall and she was a customer who was going to have a dinner party tomorrow and she needed to buy food but didn't know what. She gave me 5 pieces of paper with info on about money off for online orders, offers in store etc. She left the room for about 8 mins to let me read the paper to give me a bit of help what to ask. She came back in the room and the role play started from there. When the interview is over, they leave you in the room to score you then come back in and tell you if you've passed or not. They don't give you a job on the spot but phone you a few days later.

  • Cant remember just an avarage inteview and driving test

  • They take you to the store restaurant and buy you soup and sandwich then ask you about your previous experience

  • Like talking to a wall

  • I need talk with customers it’s really good company
