When you apply for a temporary job eg four months, do they normally extend it to a permanent contract?

9 answers

  • I was offered a permanent contract after 3 months

  • Yes. They start you off on short contracts just to see if you do well in the job. If they think you're not right for the company when your short contract ends they will just let you go. If they like you, they will extend it. They can do this 3 times before they make you a permenant member of staff. It's just to monitor your progress

  • Yes they usually do which is great for those interested.
