good team

Indeed featured review

Co-workers are great. Unfortunately salary is a minimum and work schedule not stable, very difficult to plan your personal life. Company provides some bonuses as small discounts in shops.

Busy but rewarding.

Very busy kitchen with multiple food outlets. The people I worked alongside, made the busy shifts worthwhile.Free staff meal and tea and coffee.Shifts can be long during the busy periods, but the pay was decent and made for good compensation.

Nice working environment

Nice working enviroment but not many career opportunities. Training is provided but there are lots of procedures in place so you need to be a quick learner

I learn a lot but doesnt feel appreciated

What is the best part of working at the company? My lovely breakfast team. Start and finish early when you work on breakfast shift. On side car park. Close to tram buses and trainWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Management. People who should be a managers. No idea how to lead the team. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Their try to be familiar but you can see and feel there is a good and better peopleWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?Morrning shifts its breakfast time. Cook all needed stuff like bacon sausages. Heat up beans etc. And serve breakfast from 6.30 till 10.30. Its Buffett style restaurant. After breakfast you have to serve the lunch. Finish about 13.30

fun workplace, training and great collegues

good place to work, training programs excellent and get to go around county to attend coursesVery clicky management if your face doesnt fit they dont want to know also management very P&l based and expect managers to work unpaid overtime to cover gaps in rota. No concern for mental health and work life balance for salaried employees...in the past unpaid overtiem for salaried employees caused hourly pay to drop below minimum wage

Excellent place to work!

Loved my time here , met lovely people and team really easy to get on with . Managers helpful, with good communication . Never felt overwhelmed with work load

Decent but team is always changing so it’s hard to keep consistent

Management is okay , you get tips shared evenly but a lot of heavy lifting of trays filled with things. Late night shifts are a bit long but if you are with hardworking people that make sure things get done it’s not too bad

Fun workplace Bad salary

working at marriott was great as you meet a lot of high value guests but overall the work isn’t hard the menu is very easy to learn the other employees make it bareable to work. Pay is bad, hours are even worse unless it’s morning shifts but good luck getting them as they are always taken. Unstable hours.

Not bad Work

Enjoyable times and other times not so much. There are some benefits of working there such as there's a decent culture of people wanting to succeed but can be boring and tedious

Cheap rooms

One of the best perks is the £25 a night rooms for being a staff member (although not always available) and the 50% food and beverage discount where you work.

Great place to work

Great culture and training for associates - would go back in a heartbeat. Benefits are second to none with discounted room rates worldwide. A company that looks after not only its customers, but associates too

Stressful, no support

Depending on location, can't feel support from higher management. In general good company to work for, but they need to look on higher management level

nice place

Good salary, flexibility , fun to work. The only problem was the communication between managers .A lot of favoritism and very hard to get a 5 in your performance.
