Easy job, good pay. Managers can be bit too strict and sometimes not nice. Overall good place. Would recommend to anyone to work as long as they are hard working

Avoid at all costs

Company promise the world and deliever nothing.Ask your self if you like driving for hours to arrive at an address where nobody lives..and doing this day in day hour after hour then add into the mix you do this on your tod.Chasing ghosts gets boring commission only gets paid if someone attends court or pays a fine....cost of living rises makes this impossible for people to do so in turn makes your job more difficultNo consideration for people's safety just targets

Worst job. Avoid at all costs.

Typical day involves being given dead beat warrants, waking up at 5:00 am because "thats the golden hour" being sent knocking on peoples door that dont even live there anymore and having to find that out by yourself. If no one is there, you dont get payed anything.Keep in mind that during training they will pair you up with somone more experienced than you and get you to do 2 weeks work for free. This works great for them, because they send them to the good parts and they use you as additional presence, so they can look more threatening and obtain the money. Also more experienced agents get the best warrants to attend HANDPICKED. You will get all the bad ones that dont pay out, or are years old where receiving payment is impossible.Prepare for alot of dissapointment, to have your life threatened and to have to call the police for assistance which will take up hours of your time. ALL FOR NO MONEY.Its commision based and if you dont get payments they just tell you to "do better" "work harder" "look at our other agents" (which are given handpicked good jobs to attend) ON TOP OF THAT. You are expected to pay for the Van that you will use for the job and gas out of your own pocket. The van alone costs 89 pounds PER WEEK. Which is deducted from your payments.Terrible place to work for, horrible management, horrible everything. Just dont do it.

Pros

Absolutely nothing

Cons

Risking your life and wasting time for no money

Have a think about it first as to whether this is the job for you.

Don't know where they get the baffling idea you can earn up to £50k a year, no where near that. Majority of the work is poor standard and restrictive on what you can really earn. At times, real lack of support from management as you have to work alone. Promises made to you but in reality not there. Wages are low for each job you complete, compared to what agents in London/SE earn. Have asked for increases but ignored. Van hire is expensive so use your own car.

Good company to work for

The training period should be 3 weeks with printed materials at every stage. Also for recruitment staff to ask if anyone has a reasonable adjustment necessary for to carry out the duties of the post. More attention to Coaching.

Pros

Nice place to work, excellent work colleagues, Seniors and Team Leader

Cons

The salary is low by industry standards and relies on bonuses far too much

The job role in itself can be very stressful especially with it now being run as a cal centre. Every minute is timed and management is not the best.

I would recommend working for Marston if your young and not bothers much about money. The job role is very pressurised in it self and there is not much praise in the office at all. It can be a very negative environment to work in.

Pros

Permanent job role

Cons

Salary

very good company to work for flexible hours good work life balance can work any days of the weeks so as mentioned have flexible working hours hours limited to 6am to 9pm

No Job Satisfaction

To do this job you have to want to rip off people for a company that does not care about you at all. Would not work here again and i wouldn't recommend, advertise high salary expectation but in reality not very achievable.

Underpaid and not treated particularly well

Frequently abused by "customers". Paid minimum wage and goal posts frequently changed around bonuses. 1/2 hour for lunch. Holiday entitlement is good.

Pros

Holiday entitlement

Cons

Salary is appalling.

Great work place. Friendly staff members. Everyone is approachable. Bonus is very achievable. No Sundays - only one Saturday in every 4. Friendly and competitive work place.

Pros

monies there if you want to put in the hours

pros and cons, unsociable hours, risk of assault. but you are your own boss work your own hours. more hours more money. the data base that you primarily work with to determin your daily structure is severely flawed. more energy in tracing is required

Pros

own boss

Cons

relies on inadiquate database

Confused directions

Day to day work is largely unplanned and unmanaged. I find as an employee that making your own decisions is encouraged on paper but frowned upon in practice. A lack of direction is sadly obvious to most. Most pockets of employees I have engaged with are marginalised and pigeonholed into small, rigid roles. It has turned something I loved to do as a hobby into almost something I avoid at all costs in my private time.

Pros

Health benefits, location

Cons

No progression, support is patchy

Demoralising workplace

Certain departments are treated with contempt by both their management and higher management. Although the benefits are good ie more holidays than most companies and free healthcare, the pay is low.

Pros

Healthcare, holiday allowance

Cons

Pay low and poor staff treatment
