Maxim World Careers and Employment

A typical day to day at work for myself would be come in at 9am, complete tracking procedure of all shipments sent. Once tracking is completed and sent to the MD, I would have to begin calling all clients that we have in UAE who had debts remaining to us. In between the debt collecting, I would complete some PA jobs towards my boss. After Lunch would be back to debt collecting but from US. end of the day would be sending out invoices and completing unfinished work. Through the job, I learnt many new skills such as communicating with clients overseas being first point of contact, how to reconcile freight costs and how to work in a new team. The co-workers were nice and welcoming. they were helpful when needed. The hardest part of the job was having to juggle the company work around the PA job as they were both important. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning new skills and developing my experience by completing various tasks given.

I enjoyed the work environment. Company is very focused and has great Ethos. I learnt a lot from working here. There are some great perks within the company and lots of opportunities. Management is great, they support you to move up within the company.

Great experience

I worked with maxim world for 12 months and I have to say that what I learnt has been invaluable . The company provides free lunches for every one ! What an amazing perk. The management were very fair - work hard , play hard but very understandable on personal circumstances. They never micro managed me or any team member which meant that it is down to the individual to grow if they want to . I have seen the management been understanding to team members who had personal challenges - something that is so rare to see these days . I want to thank the team , the management and everyone at maxim world. THANK YOU so much

Do not work for maxim world! Horrible place to work!

I can honestly say it’s the worst job I have ever had! The management are so rude to their staff and they put people down daily! DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!

Having worked at Maxim world for several years I can honestly say this is the best company to work for . The company looks after its employees to the extent that everyone even gets free lunches.
