I normally did 7 hour shifts 3 days a week. Everyone gets a 45 minute break and should be within 4 hours of working that day, if your working less than a 6 hour shift you get 30 minutes.
My shift patterns were:
Saturday: 8am - 4pm
Sunday: 8am - 4pm
Monday: 4pm - 11pm
Breaks: 45minutes per shift
You can chose your own shift patterns and the break times vary depending on how long your shift is, 5 hours or under is 30 minutes anything over is 45 minutes
The shift patterns are 9 hours with a 45 minute break, so you are working for 8 hours and 15 minutes
If you're younger, you're more likely to work evenings. So 4-11? You get a 30 minute break on 5-6 hours. You get a 45 minute break on 6 and above.
45 mins, under 18, 20, if over.
Opens, day shifts and closes. if you work over 5/6 hours you get a 45 minute break.
Full time is 4-5 shifts per week each being about 6-8 hours long.
Part time is usually 2-3 shifts per week each being between 6-8 hours long.
For shifts 5 hours and less a 30 minute break is given, for shifts 6-9 hours long a 45 minute break is given and shifts that are 10 hours + a 1 hour break is given that is split into a 45 minute break and a 15 minute break
Shift patterns depend on store opening hours. breaks range from 15 minutes for anything 4-6 hours, 30 minutes for 6-8 hours and 45 minutes 8 hours+ as well as unpaid smoke breaks. You also get a food allowance on your break.
Very flexible, you can construct your weekly availability and for the most part are scheduled based on that.
