Productive and fun

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
It can be very fast paced, but there is a strong supportive culture, colleagues tend to be very helpful, and help is always found if you need it. Highly recommended.

Burnout rampant

Interesting work but they embrace burnout culture. There's also a weird culty vibe of 'we're the best and the smartest'. Honestly, I had a breakdown and then left.

Poor management

Pretty dysfunctional in most areas. Generally speaking consultants don’t care about support staff although there are some exceptions. Used to be much better.

Un environnement unique

C'est une entreprise très unique; on aime ou pas mais ce qui est certain, c'est qu'on apprend énormément (et les collègues sont brillants !)

Fast paced Environment

Worked up to 6 days a week and up to 10 hours a day. I had to learn a lot on the job but picked up the skills pretty quickly. Meeting clients was difficult as a lot of the time they did not want to see you.

Postive experience

Got to participate in focus groups in the Paris and London offices. These workshops were focused on millennial development. Focusing on the needs of younger employees in a corporate setting.

Enjoyable

Its a fun place to work but difficult to find a happy work/life balance. A lot of opportunities to grow as a person, good team to work with and team leader and managers are helpful.

A great place for Career Cluster EAs

If you're an EA looking to find a comfortable set of workplace benefits, working amongst a team/pool of other EAs then you will enjoy it here. In my experience the lack of support and 24/365/360 feedback model is not a culture than I enjoyed and I would avoid in the future as it inspires ethical and social problems.

Wonderful Firm to work for

McKinsey is a truly inspiring Global Management Consultancy Firm. No two days were ever the same and the adrenaline rush from exceeding expectations was phenomenal. I worked with amazing Directors and Partners and a fantastic EA cohort world wide. The hardest part of the job was trying to achieve a work/life balance as the hours were extremely long and arduous.

Pros

Great benefits; gym and free restaurant on site

Cons

Long hours

Great place, was honoured to do my internship there.

Doing an internship here really helped me define my career. There's a great culture around the place to constantly be improving yourself and going to the next step.

Pros

Good place to work overall

The most enjoyable part of the job was doing the yearly catalogues and displaying jewellery for yearly jewellery show at Birmingham. Management was good and easy to interact with. Hardest part of the job was all the orders to deal with after trade shows.

Pros

Good team in stockroom

Cons
