Hard work for rubbish pay
Also noticed they always had my hours just so I wasn’t entitled get my free meal when I worked sometimes until 12 at night. Rubbish pay People I worked with made it worth it

The staff are like family
Mcmullens promote the family atmosphere and in my personal experience I feel this perfectly titles my workplace. Everyone is happy to help out and it’s a positive place, negatives come with most companies in the industry.

Loved working here
I loved working for McMullen. They ensure the staff are well looked after. Everyone who works for them are generous and easy to get along with. They are such a nice company

Cliquey
If your face fits you might have yourself a low paid, undervalued career. It doesn't matter if you're doing back to back shifts, against EU regs because everyone else is happy to be walked all over.
Bar Staff in Chingford, Greater London

Interview questions

On your trial shift, ask questions, make yourself useful, ask weather their is stuff you can help with. I felt I was useless on my shift but a manager told me the reasons above is what they look for so don’t worry about not being up to scratch immediately, just don’t lounge about and be lazy and you’ll get the job.
