worst management
Booking Consultant (Former Employee) - Sutton, Greater London - 7 April 2019
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedthe management is awful however, the team is a great team filled with young people. We worked very hard and helped each other whenever we could. Our management is ruthless and do not offer incentives for their employees.

Medgen compliance
Support Worker (Former Employee) - uk - 30 May 2023
I am extremely disappointed with the performance of the compliance team. Their handling of my compliance matters has been nothing short of abysmal. From start to finish, it has been a frustrating and disheartening experience. Firstly, the team showed a complete lack of efficiency. It took them an unreasonable amount of time to review my documents and provide any sort of response. I understand that compliance procedures can be meticulous, but their slow pace was simply unacceptable. Furthermore, their lack of attention to detail is appalling. Despite submitting all the necessary documentation, I was repeatedly asked for the same information, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. It is evident that the compliance team did not take the time to thoroughly review my case or properly communicate with each other. Moreover, their decision-making process is questionable at best. Even when I provided undeniable proof of my completed training courses, they still insisted on unnecessary requirements and failed to acknowledge the evidence provided. This level of incompetence is astonishing and demonstrates a complete disregard for the applicants' time and effort. Overall, my experience with the compliance team has been extremely frustrating and has left me with a negative impression. Their inefficiency, lack of attention to detail, and questionable decision-making have greatly impacted my trust in their ability to handle compliance matters. I would strongly advise others to seek alternative options when it comes to compliance services, as this team has proven to be a complete disappointment. -

An honest review
Booking consultant (Former Employee) - sutton - 13 January 2023
- the cameras are constantly monitored by management. They see and hear everything. - no career opportunities, recruitment is about progression but this company has no structure that allows people to grow within - Almost all senior/management are blood related or married to each other and have seen some of the only career progression in the company. coincidence?! -All the motivated people go to seek proper opportunities elsewhere which leave a people who aren't enthusiastic about what they do. Everyone just complains at how they hate working which is extremely tiring to listen too. - the way they treat their staff when they leave is horrific, I've heard many stories which I don't want to put on here as they may try sue me as you are reminded by HR that they will come after you if they want. No thank you or good luck. very cold exit. Expect management to talk badly about you after you leave and how much of a mistake you are making, - only the business consultants make money - the company structure just doesn't allow people to grow or be successful. They just want people who will input data and make phone calls. They don't encourage growth as they don't want their staff leaving their entry-level mediocre role. Please don't come here if you want a career. if you want to just come in, do work and leave then this is the place. If you're looking to work the extra mile and seek any promotional or career progressing opportunities then look somewhere else. You will not be rewarded for any extra work so if you are looking for a job to do the bare minimum to pay the bills this will work -

Dynamic Business
I have been with the company for almost three years and steadily risen through the ranks. Supportive and generous leadership if your attitude is good and you work well. Very lucky to have found this opportunity

Not the best place to work
Community Booker (Former Employee) - Sutton, Greater London - 16 October 2022
Management are all related by either birth or marriage which makes it quite cliquey. No chance of progression and you have to wait 6 months before you start to earn commission. Basic pay is not very good either. Shift patterns are 12pm - 10pm or 1pm - 11pm.
Pros
Free fruit every Mondays
Cons
Terrible shift patterns and basic pay. Upper management are not nice.

Great Company to work for
Consultant (Current Employee) - Sutton, Greater London - 12 October 2022
One of the fairest companies I have worked for. Hard work gets rewarded and noticed. Company that cares about their employees and goes the extra mile to help out where they can. Flexibility offered around home life.

Motivating and professional work place
Recruiter (Current Employee) - Sutton, Greater London - 7 June 2022
No days are the same at Medgen! It is such a great workplace! Every member of staff is very helpful and friendly and the management is simply the best! There is a lot of support given between teams and not only, you can always talk openly and share ideas as they are listened and, most important, if you do your work with professionalism, you definitely build your path to success! There are incentives in place, staff parties and a lot of opportunities to become a better version of yourself every day!

Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy
Recruitment Bookings Consultant (Former Employee) - Sutton - 22 September 2021
This has to be the worst job I ever had management don't know what their doing apart from HR was more or less verbally threatened by a member of management during a one to one you have no life working for medgen and they seem to have a thing about putting labels on people based on nationality and backgrounds that's all I will say about them other than that met some really good people in the company

Productive
Recruitment consultant - Bookings and placements (Former Employee) - Sutton, Greater London - 11 July 2020
I dealt with shift filling them with nurses that were suitable. I learned a lot of sales skills that i have continued to use in my career. The management was poor in my opinion. I was unfairly dismissed due to a nurse lying about her compliance regardless, I learnt many transferable skills.
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Long Hours

The worst job experience ever
Health Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Leicester, Leicestershire - 13 December 2019
Working for medgen was horrible. The compliance & booking staffs are the worst. The management is incompetent and do not care for the staff.
There is no job security, not staff support, they is no work. After all the ridiculous recruitment process, they promise you work but you’ll go for months with nothing.
I honestly regret joining and I’m on my way to resigning.
